How old is the landmass we know that is France? 4.5 billion years?

Lets be charitable and say the author was referring politically to what we generally refer to as France today. A thousand years?

That'd at least be something to take notice of. However further down the article "ever" changes to "since 1947."

That's quite the difference wouldn't you agree kind Sir?

Lets take your point further. If France continues to have a new "hottest" day every year from now on, would that effect your thinking?

Or, would you say "Wait! I'm missing the wood from the trees."

It doesnt matter. Thats a red herring.

Before 2000, France had major heatwaves roughly once every decade. Since 2000 its now about one heatwave every summer on average. And each one is usually hotter than the last.

You can find similar patterns all over Europe.

I'm open to the suggestion that we as humans are contributing to a rise in temperature. But I would tread carefully Sir.

Its only a few years since they tried to convince us the equivalent of the black death had arrived on our shores.

As for covid, we dodged a bullet: the lockdowns were precautionary and wise in retrospect.

Humans are not significant enough on this Planet to affect the Climate of this Planet ! ! !

Humans are very Un-Important on this Planet even less so off the Planet i.e. Solar System inside the Milky Way Galaxy / Universe.

Humans struggle to come to terms with being ~ Of No Importance What-so-ever ! ! !

People like Haven just cannot face this reality !
 
Crazy weather caused by carbon dioxide levels seems dubious. Crazy weather caused by deliberate weather modification - aerial spraying, electro magnetic games - sounds more likely.

Plenty of trails and aerial droners here in the NW. Warm, but quite cloudy.

Water is a great cooler. Too hot outside on the patio? Throw a bucket of water on the paving. Inside, hang up a wet blanket.

Good news: In Paris they have allowed people to jump into canals to cool off.
