This was April 2014 after the new government was in and after the Russians started military manoeuvres against Ukraine. The new government were damn grateful to get the intelligence as well.
High-rank intelligence operatives could deliver intel better than CIA director who is mostly political figure doesn't know all details

It has been the exact same story since I said the war ended de facto when the offensive failed on June 17th.

For two months the Russians just sit there as the the ukes are just killed and killed and while the money runs low.

Time is Putins friend. He is watching the financial situation worsen in the US, eu and England and will likely shut off the energy this winter, unlike last winter.

The petroleum reserve is low and would be gone completely in 6 months at 2 million barrels a day being released..

I think this is spot on. On about Sept 3 , Wagner will come down from the north and it is a mop up operation by then. Everything east of the river will be devoured.

I saw something like this earlier and it makes sense. Pincer move between Belarus and Wagner North/Northeast and Russian forces upwards from the south.

What I have been picking up of late is that there appears to be a growing divergence of opinion between the Ukr army and NATO.

NATO, most probably egged on by the neocon nutters in the Whitehouse, want a full scale assault with lots of MSM pleasing bangs and flashes and a deep penetration into the disputed regions. Ukr, on the other hand, realise they just haven't the strength to do that and can do no more than pick away at the edges and make out that each barn reconquered is a mighty triumph.

Understandable, as the concentration of forces preparing for a large assault will weaken the line elsewhere and become an easy target for Russian air strikes, if the necessary forces exist in the first place, which I doubt.

It's all to do with the optics rather than reality and thousands of lives are being lost due to the stupidity and downright evil of NATO's bosses.

Russia has won this, anybody who lives outside the western propaganda bubble knows it, yet there are movements and egos needing a western win no matter what the cost. Russian victory will set the global agenda back decades, so it cannot be seen to happen and fuck the poor bloody infantry.

The end has been predicted for months, but it hasn't happened yet, nor will it for a long time, not until the elite have realised that Putin has them beat and a plan B is in place, but I've no idea what form that might take.

It’s not a true world war until there is fighting on at least three continents. It appears the African Front will be opening hostilities soon.

Russkiy Mir: says - Really? Ukraine is destroying Russian cities, are they?

Yes, they are trying, the above bombing is one that got through Moscow air defenses, others have got through too as you've posted, many others would have hit civilians but the Russians have top defenses. Other area are not so lucky being the towns of Donbas etc.
In return, Yes Ukraine gets attacked but we both know it's chiefly military and infrastructure targets until 'Tit for Tat', civilians get it too.
So, bottom line we need to deescalate the attacks on those civilian centres.
Unfortunately the Minsk2 agreement was ignored and Ukraine chose to escalate a bad situation of it's own making.
Escalating it to Moscow is asking to have an escalation visited upon civilian Kiev - The Ukrainians are asking for it, agreed?

Can the Russians stop first then? That would be great.
Yes agreed, the Russians are trying but as we must remind ourselves there's Russian interests, Ukrainian interests (which used to harmonize peacefully, until . . .) and on top we have Nato Interests which dominate Ukraine's performance on these issues.

The Russian foreign minister also emphasized that in December 2021, Moscow had made "a very serious effort" to convey its concerns to Western capitals, sending them two draft agreements concerning security guarantees with the US and measures to ensure security with NATO member states. "However, our initiative was arrogantly rejected right away. Instead of engaging in talks, they focused their efforts on increasing the production of weapons and ammunition to be provided to Ukraine, triggering a further escalation of regional tensions," Lavrov concluded.

Fixed that for you.
That's Hijacking from you, an act of piracy no less! In the same vein as scuttling the peace and prosperity of Minsk2 which in itself was an act of pure evil from the baddies.
Look how that ended up. ffs

The AFU still hasn't commited the bulk of its reserve either.

Not really. This is from post of Khodakovsky which Western sources decided to ignore
Good morning. Yesterday, both sides deployed all their resources - today is a replenishment underway. There was an involuntary short respite. Compassion doesn't come to the battlefield, but seeing the damage the enemy is causing in Urozhaynoye, we experienced emotions that are hard to describe. We lacked infantry and equipment, but there were enough means of attack to grind down a significant portion of what the enemy threw at taking the village. Urozhaynoye resembled a meat grinder into which living people entered, and minced meat came out. The number of destroyed and damaged vehicles was counted in dozens. There remains a very specific feeling: we yielded Urozhaynoye, but dealt such damage that a part of our consciousness refuses to understand the motives of the Ukrainian command. Only those who hate them more than we do can drive their own people to the slaughter like this.
