The fact that our government said we would take up to 200,000 was absolute madness and exposes them for the incompetents they are.

The pause ordered by Putin after the victory a week or so ago has come to an end it seems now. He will push ahead now and have the rest of the two provinces that make up the Donbass secure by the end of the month.

The are only pumping 20% of the regular Nord 1 pipeline and others are shut. But whatever the rate of flow, it is low enough to prevent the Europeans building any reserve at all. So Putin just waits for winter to defeat europe.

Russia is selling all the oil they have including a couple of million barrels to Saudi that they then sell to the US. That is why oil is down about $30 a barrel
 
They are here, at least somewhat. I filled at 3.99 a gallon yesterday. I believe a lot of refined diesel and maybe gas is being sent to ukraine.
 
US oil looks like it will drop under 80 per barrel tomorrow, now it's back where it was in October 2021. Doubtful that state affiliated media in Ireland will be highlighting it, pump prices still around 2 euro I expect but should be around 1.30.

As expected Ireland has a big surplus, around 5 billion for the last quarter, will have the same again for this one. Will be used to pay back for bonds earlier. Same story across Europe. Consumers repaying government debt through higher taxes due to the manufactured inflation, the charade in Ukraine serving its purpose.

This coincides with a deadline given by Zelinsky a few weeks ago. It was in relation to a supposed massive assault by Ukraine against the DPR. This never materialized, so why he set a specific date for cessation is a little suspect.
 
It looks like it s curtains for the Ukrainians. My understanding is that once the heavily fortified use positions are finally ground down and pulverized, then it is easy to the river and Russia has the russian side of Ukraine gobbled.
 
Something being reported in the UK that military personnel have been warned to be prepared for immediate deployment to Ukraine. I think they could well be going for an all out global conflict by the years end. Hopefully im wrong!

The new bimbo will sign the deployment. The West will not easily accept defeat, but the value of the euro and sterling tell the reality as the winter now is just 3 or 4 weeks away.

You would start to wonder if she is nothing more than a puppet.
 
It looks like the Ukrainians are just about out of ammo so it is likely impossible for the west to transport it to where it is needed either.
This week will tell the tale and by Sept 1st the Russians will be in the driver's seat more clearly.
