LOL, at that point it's probably the best time to start negotiating.😂😂

Kinda hard / pointless to negotiate if the trigger has been pulled alright ! ! :D

Ok, so the Terrorists have been caught, and currently there are a bunch of videos circulating showing them being tortured. Ears being cut off, teeth being pulled.

I'm not going to allow these to be posted, because this site isn't a host for snuff. Please don't upload anything like that here.

I doubt that is really happening though, Putin would be better off with a show trial.

Some nut just posted this on P.ie🙂

Advances in 20th century military technologies, especially artillery that accounted for around 80% of battlefield casualties, led to millions of military deaths in both world wars. The Soviet Union's military deaths in WW2 were in millions partly because of a strategy of frontal assaults taking advantage of numerical superiority on the front lines.

In WW1, the populations of France and UK which were about 8% higher than Ukraine's today suffered tremendous military deaths. The population figures for France and UK before WW1 were 39 millions and 41 millions, while wartime military deaths were 1.3 millions and 0.8 million. By comparison, Ukraine's population was 37 millions ex Donbas and Crimea before the Russian invasion, while Ukraine's military deaths were about 80,000 in late 2023.

Given these figures, it isn't surprising Ukraine's population and military support the war even though the military are naturally war weary after prolonged front line service. The relatively low military death rates should allow Ukraine to fight on for many years to come provided the US keeps sending military aid or Europe replaces reduced US aid if a potential Trump presidency were to cut back on aid. It would be appalling if the democracies failed to maintain aid to Ukraine which costs them a tiny percentage of national incomes.

What motivated France to accept frightful WW1 casualties? It was mainly France's loss of Alsace Lorraine in the Franco Prussian War in 1870 which is similar to Ukraine's loss of Crimea. As shown in surveys, the French people's deep humiliation at this loss made them ignore casualties.

Ukraine's similar attachment to Crimea and the Donbas should prove a powerful motivation to fight to the finish for victory.

This is damning for Ukraine
Yeah. These guys have no religious affiliation. Now, the West is trying to portray them as just inexperienced zealots, but they are very well co-ordinated and Russia is of the opinion they are professional. When they were picked up they all spoke in very broken Russian, but it seems now that may have been deliberate.

Another nut from P.ie. He thinks Russia is losing five men for every Ukrainian killed😃

Sadly, Russia has no respect for life, fatalities are for the people of the hinterlands, not the White Russian’s of Moscow or St Petersburg. So, they are totally expendable, especially without the previous Mother demonstrations of the Afghan war. Russian military sees nothing wrong in a 5:1 loss ratio. Statistically the U.S. military achieves a 10:1 ratio in their favour, which would decimate the standing Russian army, Whites and all

Isis my hole charlottesweb.....everyone knows they are random jihadi scum hired in by zitler
Can we be sure they are actually Islamic?

It says something of the corruption of the Zelensky regime that even after all those billions being poured into the war effort they can only scrape together 20 - 25k to hire four gunmen and buy them an old Renault with a few notes left over to put some petrol in the tank.

There has been a concerted effort to go for the Russian landing ships and there is no doubt that Ukraine is getting NATO help here, in fact it's probably a NATO operation under an Ukrainian cloak.

So why is NATO so scared of these ageing vessels? Where does it think Russia will use them? They are shallow water craft with a draught of just 12 feet and are lightly armed, something about them has spooked the US whose new shallow water fleet is hitting all sorts of problems - https://taskandpurpose.com/news/navy-littoral-combat-ship-propulsion-problem/
