If Hutch wasn't running you would get a clearer picture of support for Steenson, most of Hutch voters would from same demographic. Then Steenson could build on that for general election. Between them they got over 20% of first count votes , more than any of the other main parties candidates...
Hutch got major publicity, some good some not , this definitely took away focus/momentum from Steenson. They are both based in the same 1 mile north inner city radius, where the majority of their combined first count votes (20.7% ot overall vote) would have come from. If Hutch exits stage...
