Venezuela will be leveled to make up for the loss of all those minerals in Ukraine than can no longer be stolen.
Maybe Cuba as well for good measure. And it will be two easy wins

I'm thinking that this might behind Trump's about turn on Ukraine. He came flying in full of brash confidence of coming to a deal with Putin only to realise that Putin is not a businessman at all, but a leader who has his country's interests at heart. Not sure that our Don knows how to cope with that.

Well, they cant hide the mass mobilisation needed for this. If they send all Atlantic MEUs out then we know something is up.

Trump is big into gestures as well. His meetings with European ministers at Turnberry, his Scottish golf resort, were pure theatre where he would take in a round of golf before bothering with their company. It was all done on his territory and to his rules and they had to line up to greet the new king.

I detect something of the same here. It's Trump saying to the defence forces, I'm the boss, I can gather you all here at the click of my fingers, however big you may think you are, I have the power.

It's pure showmanship.
