It's ok, Pervert, your drug pushing buddy Bill Gates is buying up the farmland anyway.
Let him deal with it, TINA.(y)
Worth bearing in mind that the vast majority of farms in the USA are small family owned units, there are 1.88m farms in the USA after all. It's the big prairie farms that grow soya and corn, not the smaller ones, and there are far more of them.

More like a soybean burger.

“Soybean farmers are under extreme financial stress,” the American Soybean Association said in a letter to Trump in August. “Prices continue to drop and at the same time our farmers are paying significantly more for inputs and equipment. U.S. soybean farmers cannot survive a prolonged trade dispute with our largest customer.”
'The number of farm operations filing for bankruptcy remains at historically low levels'

And you can bet your grubby vest that most of those involve divorce, drink, etc.

Theres a little more to it than that.

It has always bought big from south America, the US supplied around 20% of China's imports.

Any bailout will suit the farm suppliers eg, John Deere, CNH etc, as much as it will the actual farms, and Trump wants to make stuff in the USA.

And now it supplies zero. Its not lower prices hurting those farmers, its zero revenue from what was once a dependable buyer.

I sure it wont be the last Trump bailout either.

I'm afraid not.

“We have an export-dependent industry, we’ve angered its biggest customer, and, boom, now we’re bailing out the export-dependent industry,” said Scott Lincicome, the vice president for general economics at the Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank. “It’s kind of a slow-motion train wreck six years in the making.”

Farmers have long been a reliable voting bloc for Mr. Trump, making them a rich target for retaliation. In Mr. Trump’s first term, China hit back at his tariffs by imposing its own levies on U.S. whiskey, cranberries, pork and soybeans. The fallout was so painful that the administration delivered more than $20 billion in aid to farmers.

Republican lawmakers have estimated that, this time around, farmers could need as much as $50 billion in economic support."

Oh Gawd!

If there is a global price for a commodity then there is a global market for it. If Argentina is selling soyabean to China then it is not selling it to somebody else so the US will sell it to that somebody else.

In theory.
But of course those buyers have also been subject to Trumps tariffs. I'm sure whatever they decide to buy will be at a deep discount. If they buy.

Maybe the surviving farmers will have it sorted next harvest time.

China was already Argentina's biggest customer, taking over 80% of its soya exports, it lifted taxes on exports for a few months and Chinese buyers piled in, yet it does not have an inexhaustable supply and the Argentine government will want that revenue stream back. It's a waiting game.

I'm surprised that I haven't put this thread in my bozo bin by now, like I did with the Ukraine thread (you being far and away the biggest copy/paste/shit poster in that one)

I would prefer it if the US Politics thread was readable though.. you and @Haven doing your bests to prevent it..

The site would be unusable if I had to read your total bollox every time your brain farts, you fucking muppet.

Selling Out is Not Success

This is why one should never, ever, trust any “influencer” or “opinion leader” or “activist” who rapidly goes from nothing to hundreds of thousands of “followers”. It’s also why I pay no attention to the likes of Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, Charlie Kirk, Nick Fuentes, Candace Owens, and every other shill who sells opinions for donor cash.
CHARLIE KIRK
Just lost another huge Jewish donor. $2 million a year because we won’t cancel Tucker. I’m thinking of inviting Candace.
CHARLIE KIRK
Jewish donors play into all the stereotypes. I cannot and will not be bullied like this.
Leaving me no choice but to leave the pro Israel cause.
Now, there are a lot of things that can be gleaned from these three texts written by Charlie Kirk. But first and foremost, mark that he was being propped up to the tune of $2 million per year from just one of his “donors”. It doesn’t matter by whom, it doesn’t matter for what, the salient point is that all of these guys are fake.
All of these characters are quite literally manufactured. Their opinions aren’t real, they are purchased and directed by their donors and investors.
If someone isn’t actually selling an actual product or service, then what he is selling, unbeknownst to most of those who listen to him, is his voice and his words.

Not a waiting game for US farmers. They will need the bailout now, unless Trump dramatically removes his imposed tariffs on these other possible buyers and the US surplus is all bought up. Thats assuming its not bought at a big discount, since they know the US is desperate to sell.

Anyone who pushes trannyism is a total failure as a human being.

Any day now, probably within two weeks or something......:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

If only Pedo Joe and his Degenerate Party perverts had released those files during the four years he was POTUS, Maybe Trump would be a distant memory, eh?
I've answered this multiple times.
The only way Trumps base can trust a release of the files is if it comes from Trump.
The catch is that Trump has to release all of it. He's fucked and everyone knows it.

Once again Trump lives on rent free in your head, Pervert.

Meanwhile.
