A Possible Energy Shutdown?

O'Donovan really is the Mr. Smithers of the FFG party.
A real slimey little bootlicker, we know the type because we have one here on this site.

Remember, this bootlicker is from a political entity that funds their state mouthpiece RTE/PRAVDA with a licence fee AND over €700 million of OUR taxes and he's whining about unbiased media?
Another pathetic little yes man.

We're better off keeping the bootlicking type away from children.👍

TheJournal has been in overdrive all week pumping out anti-protest hit pieces and fear propaganda. The articles below are from only the past few days. The Leaving Cert music and Junior Cert home economics practicals and were postponed because of those wicked protestors!

exactly - I mean the government are giving RTE some €725,000,000 of tax payers funds to keep them afloat - how dare they try to be impartial!
Whats your gripe then?

FFS.

I would have thought this is EXACTLY what the protesters wanted to see printed.

Isnt that the whole fucking point of the protest? To cause havoc and so gain concessions?

What do you fucking want?

"If it takes to close the country down, we'll close the country down."
"Well, that was John Dallon, a spokesman for the protesters in Dublin, there. I've been told to tell you theres no problems at though. Its all grand everywhere. Come down to O'Connell St for a popup Ploughing Championship and see the machinery. Great music too! Now, back to the studio."

It's the journal.ie, boards.ie's media channel.
Ya might as well quote Reddit, FFS!!😂

Don't think they were rigged but Thick Paddy can't see past the FFG cartel.

In the Presidential, about 44% didn't vote and 12% of voters spoiled. So close enough to half of the Thick Paddies saw past the FFG/SF/Socialist nonsense. Imagine if all the non-voters voted for one candidate.

The Journal is revolting, of course, but check out the comments: They are allowing all sorts of outrageous anti-Jewish statements. I suppose they figure that they might as well get the clicks.

They rte, should never, ever been given a cent, on top of the license fee and adverts. I just found it amusing that rte were impartial, well to a degree... Rte v the government, fighting in public, like seeing team mates in soccer beating the crap out of each other

The farmers are reading Sarsfields!! One hundred tractors and trucks parked quietly for four hours outside the office of some traitor FFG TD in Mayo today. One local businessman - who he? - complained to the farmers that their protest was "destroying his business". Obvious nonsense.

It seems the Gardai facilitated this protest also. :)

A nice, peaceful demo, with huge and intimidating farm machinery right outside the traitor TDs office or home is perfectly legal, as long as we don't block anything. The little secretary feminists who work in his office probably will be off on paid sick leave for weeks because of the stress.

And it seems that even today, the brave guys and gals of the Garda Sicini are facilitating and not harassing protestors, even if they happen to be breaching some tweeny weeny tiny little traffic regulation.

Wow... I do like the fake paddy citizenship ceremony being postponed, surely that's a good news story. Walked by Aston Quay, earlier today drug dealing scum, including new oirish, out selling drugs openly and not a fcukin Garda to be seen, maybe the journal will run with that story, no getting away from it the city centre was far safer during the protest 🤔

The Journal are also warning the govt. The MSM journaliars can feel the hatred every day from the general public, whereas politicians are more insulated.

Betcha the "normie" protestors made some very sharp remarks to the journalists.

Any man who risks his truck, tractor and body in a peaceful protest in Ireland cannot be called a normie. It would surprise nobody if the Gardai had killed a dozen and tortured hundreds. And they would get away with it.

Sure didn't a FG senator rape a guy with a chocolate bar and batter a man because his wife refused to sleep with him? Gardai have mocked the parents of murder victims like JoJo Dollard and, more recently, Kelly Lynch.

Doing a peaceful protest in Ireland in 2026 is as risky as the rising in '16. Definitely not for normies.

Good point, that FF lad would poison their little minds, at such an informantive age, with woke poison.
O'Donovan is a member of the FG blueshirts, but themselves and the traitors of destiny are really the same thing now.

Liberty Stream Network talking about a school bus strike, This is an excellent idea. And the bus drivers have a great reason to strike. They are on a fixed contract that makes no allowance for fuel price rises. They are probably losing money when they go to work.

The traitor TDs will not be able to demonise the school bus drivers.

When the smug feminists of Ireland have to look after their own children for a few days they will go ballistic. They won't be praising Simon "Prince of Abortion" Harris. They will tear him to shreds, and they will have total immunity because feminism.

"During the past week many journalists were abused by protesters, including key personnel involved in organising blockades" admits Seamus Dooley at the NUJ.

Seamus is probably minimising things. Here is a more accurate report:

"All journalists were insulted by all protestors, using words like liar, traitor, paki rape gang facilitator."

Despite - or because of? - the "abuse", journalists did allow some protestors to speak.

Moral of the story? If you want a journalist to report your side of the story, let them know how much they are disliked and distrusted.

Ok. Fair enough. Yeah tke licence fee and adverts should be enough, getting that extra bailout wasnt on.

I could not agree more. If you want journalists to to carry your protest demands on the airwaves, print them in the paper and report on how well the protest is shutting down the country, treat them like dogs, threaten then verbally, and run them out of the place.

Works a treat.

That Kneecap concert in support of the Irish fuel protestors.....

It is reassuring to hear that the MSM is recognised as part of the problem and its representatives at ground level, the journalists, are being left in no doubt that is is the case.

I've pointed out before, however, that it is not the journalists who decide what is printed, that's an editors decision and he or she will be following the desires of the owners and I am strongly of the belief that the owners receive handouts from the government on the quiet.

Yet the strength of feeling felt and expressed will filter its way back into the cosy little cocoon in which the media and politicians operate, and hopefully cause a good amount of disruption, and that is only to be encouraged.

These articles are hit pieces with the intention of making the public turn against the protestors and to support the government. They are not simply reporting the negative effects of the protests, they are clearly written with the bias view that the protestors are bad people for causing these negative effects. So no, that is not what the protestors wanted. They would have preferred if the media did not run smear campaigns digging up dirt on individual protestors that have nothing to do with the situation. Balance and impartial journalism is wanted from the media, but the purpose of the protests was to get the Government to address the fuel crisis, not to get media coverage.

These articles are hit pieces with the intention of making the public turn against the protestors...

While MSM are doing their usual hit pieces, they are ALSO putting out pro-protestor stories. Ocean FM broadcast farmers from the Sligo demo this morning. They spoke very well: The reduction is an insult. We don't want to be here, we have work to do.

The Journal has business economist Sinéad O’Sullivan calling the protests a revolt against a hollow state, and generally cursing the gubberment.

Democratically elected Leitrim Councillor Eddie Mitchell on Ocean FM blamed the Jews for the price of petrol and urged protestors not to blockade fuel depots, but to shut down the kosher war machine at Shannon Airport.

Good idea. Will we bring hatchets and slashooks? :)

Give me an example from your list of articles you posted, of one of the reports that shows "clear bias" and where that "bias" is in the report.

No missiles today in your supposed Gulf state location? Is the weather sunny where you are?

Calling the journos a few hurty words appears to have had some effect after all.

Telling the truth to liars is always a fun and exhilarating experience for the truth teller. Be careful when telling the truth. Some liars get violent.

It sometimes has an affect on the liars, as we can see.

Even Ciaran Cuddihy had two busmen on the show and he allowed them tell their story. One mentioned that his feminist Bus Eireann manager didn't even reply to an email he wrote, explaining how the increase in fuel costs would bankrupt him.

His voice quavered. He was about to cry when he mentioned the lack of common decency that the feminist manager would not even reply to an email.

A few moments later, Cuddihy, obviously under instructions, intervened to say that "we don't know what was going on in that manager's life on that day, maybe they were on holidays, blah, blah." He was seeking to minimise the gloating cruelty of the feminist manager.

Keep up the hurty-but-truthy words, everyone! The devil hates holy water.

The Irish Times joining in the general revolt with an article asking where all the tax receipts are going and suggesting that the government needs to get a firm grip on state affairs rather than just letting the money run away like waste water.

But for that you need leadership with a vision and backbone, can anyone really see Meehole Martin charging around the corridors of power swinging an axe and putting the fear of God into the corrupt and idle that infest the whole of government?

I can't.
