A Possible Energy Shutdown?

I heard a story that the windows in some EVs are unbreakable, even in an emergency. You could take a hammer or a rock to them and it won't break. Can that be true???
I doubt that the glass in EVs is any different from normal cars, there is no need for it to be. What I have heard is that once they start burning the car shuts down meaning that they cannot be opened in an emergency, and the same could well apply to the doors if they have some sort of auto locking system I should imagine.

Glass nowadays is designed to be tough, windscreens especially, so yes, a hammer type tool for smashing them from inside is not a silly idea by any means.

As I noted a couple of weeks ago the Strats of Hormuz are heavily mined and would need to be cleared before normal passage can resume. A substack report has just come in claiming that the US navy has started doing just that, although I can't find confirmation elsewhere.

US ships operating in the straits will surely test the commitment of Iran to the ceasefire as I don't think this was included in the agreement.

Also read that the USS Tripoli retreated back into the Indian Ocean with its 2,500 marines after coming under fire, the US denies it -
