I never said anything about them being "good people". It is only the opinion of between 5 and 20 per cent of a population that matter- most people will inevitably just "go with the flow" without really thinking things out for themselves when it comes to politics. That is not going to change...

A lot of people do not have the time and/or the intelligence to have a half way serious grasp of politics. Most people will also assume that the majority around them is correct about most things. That does not necessarily make them innately problematic.
