There is a hint of disbelief at the phenomenon in their presentation which vexes it a bit but these are highly respectable scholars of the old school.

There's not much more to say on COVID for the moment until events unfold. The idea that we're going to have another pandemic on its heels is a worrying sign. It was decades since the last respiratory pandemic - the Hong Kong Flu - and now we're supposed to expect one to closely follow the Wuhan Virus?

There's talk of a World at War. If we do see this Disease X turn up then the most reasonable explanation is that there's biological warfare component to it. Anyway, the words out - hopefully it will come to naught. There's little use at worrying people who got caught up in it other than to caution them about jumping headfirst into it again.
