Are we back in the Covid type scenario again, this time wait four weeks to clear the straits instead of 2 weeks to manage the curve? The Iran War was supposed to end in a few days, according to President Trump, then it became about two weeks and now we are told it will be over in about 4 weeks, based on the deployment of about 5,000 marines to open the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile the price of oil in Ireland has already risen substantially, and set to go much higher, because of the difficulties of trade through those straits.

This incidentally is not just oil but also fertiliser, so if this goes on much longer it raises the prospect of a world, or Europe anyway (the US for example, has lots of oil) with a major energy squeeze and, if the fertiliser shortage pans out, food shortages. Of course this is just the chaos of war we are told, nobody could have predicted this.

But could they not have, wasn’t it blindingly obvious that Iran was going to close those straits once they were attacked, and isn’t it also obvious that 5,000 marines will make precious little difference, bearing in mind the huge coastline of Iran on that Gulf, and their expertise in drones, missiles, and small fast boats, etc. Are we really in a scenario that nobody could have predicted, or are we in a planned takedown of those countries dependent on oil, and heaven forbid, imported food?

In short could an energy lockdown be soon upon is, which, as you can see in these pictures, is been predicted by some commentators. What would the powers that be get out of that, I here you ask, well:

– It increases the whole Communist state atmosphere in Ireland. Irish people could easily become totally ruined in this energy squeeze, because they are driven crazy by gigantic taxes on fuel, and cars in general, and are prevented from addressing many of these problems by huge intrusive regulations, like those that make it all nigh impossible to renovate or build a house and keep or install a chimney, and those that ban turf cutting and usage.

The tax take for example now is about 60% directly on a quantity of fuel, but in fact there are also huge new ‘windfall’ taxes placed on oil companies, in addition to the former taxes, which of course in some shape or form have to be passed on to the consumer. So for example in early 2025 one oil company, Harbour Energy, reported its annual profit as $1.2 billion for 2024, and then reported that it faced an actual loss of $93 million for the same period, because its annual tax bill was over 100%, as its CEO outlined here:
““This is the third year now, every year since the introduction of the EPL [the British ‘windfall’ oil tax, in Ireland its about 75%], our effective tax rate has been higher than 100%. So clearly the EPL is not just taxing windfall profits, it’s taxing all of our profit,” Cook said on a media call.”
These taxes are usually not mentioned when they talk about tax on fuel in Ireland, hence the real tax is actually way over the 60% per cent or so that it is at the pump.

Anyway the point is that the Taoiseach et al have indicated that they will not ease up on even the new carbon taxes they are about to add on this, instead they will introduce ‘targeted’ assistance to people i.e. they destroy your capacity to survive outside the system and instead will insist you go cap in hand and apply for x or y state scheme, turning the Communist screw further.

And in any case all government handouts in this country are implemented in such a way as to discriminate against Irish people in favour of immigrants, this discrimination is completely endemic in the system and has been in place since the first immigrants started to arrive.

– It just creates a lockdown effect in general, you cannot go to a protest say because they might have checkpoints out watching for people who exceed their quota to travel, obviously this is very useful in population control.

– It could kick start the whole ‘net zero’ climate hoax in general, ‘we have to get serious about this or be in lockdown for ever etc’, so maybe we could end up with personal carbon credits like the Chinese social credit system?

– It might be designed to break the will of people. What has happened recently in Cuba could be instructive here. There the government said initially that they would not negotiate with the US in the coercive atmosphere brought about by the US takedown of Venezuela, and the intimidation of Mexico to get it to not supply oil to Cuba. But after a few months of hell, with rolling blackouts and even now no airline can travel to Cuba, because they cannot get the aviation fuel there to travel back, the government opens negotiations, publicly, and you would have to say, humiliatingly.

Maybe they would like to do that to us, soften our cough by turning on a big squeeze here until we beg for mercy? The powers that be are always, since Covid, looking for more ways to break the spirit of the people and make us feel like and act like slaves (hence easier to control us in a New Word Order), so this could be one way I guess.

No doubt there are people out there who will crunch the numbers and say there is no reason to panic here, there is a huge amount of oil available in Guyana, Russia, etc etc. Yes but remember this thesis is about these crooked globalists who rule Ireland looking for an excuse to tyrannise us more. There doesn’t have to be an actual shortage of oil, only an excuse to declare one, they just don’t have our interests at heart and would like to see us suffer?

In any case just an idea, I hope I am wrong!

I posted this on the Iran war thread -

  • Strait of Hormuz Update: Let’s do some math.

Per the EIAgov, Prior to the Conflict in Iran, roughly 20.7 million barrels of oil per day flowed through the Strait.
  • Of that, about 7.6 mmbpd flowed to China.
  • About 2.9 mmbpd flowed to India.
  • Iran is now allowing oil to flow to China, and is negotiating a deal with India, meaning that soon, 10.5 mmbpd could be back on the market.
  • Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser says its East/West pipeline can carry 7 mmbpd to the Red Sea.
  • Now, we’re up to 17.5 mmbpd.
  • Add in the 2-3 mmbpd that will soon begin to flow via the IEA strategic reserve release, and you are suddenly right at that 20.7 mmbpd number.

    Oh.

That’s if - and it’s a big IF - all goes to plan.

No wonder crude prices have started dropping today. Oil traders can do math, too.

Add to that the fact that two large LPG tankers have just got through the straits and back to India and the prognosis may not be so dire -

Following the playbook. By 2030 we the serfs will be either dead or own nothing.
None of us hate them enough.
