Nothing else they want to talk about I should imagine.

Had a quick look through this long and complex patent and it becomes apparent it is more about disrupting missile flight paths and military communications than it is weather modification, which gets a small mention towards the end.

It is also enormously power hungry and can only work in certain regions. It should also be noted that it has expired, so a bit of a red herring all round methinks.

Thanks for doing the research. Could you copy and paste the section on weather modification?

Patent expiry doesn't mean much.

"enormously power hungry and can only work in certain regions"

They have plenty of power, that's not a limit for them.

From what you've said, the patent proves a certain amount of weather modification.

"Red herring" - it was either Truman or Eisenhower who first used this phrase when grilled by journos about his admin's lavish support for Communist Russia, Communist China and tolerance of massive Soviet spy rings in the US govt.

From the patent I'd guess that it was a crazy idea that gained some traction until they actually sat down and thought about it.
