This slipped through without any comments.

'One of the key areas of concern is the provision in Part II of the Bill, under Section 37, for the appointment of “trusted flaggers” These positions will be open to applicants who specialise in a particular area of research. Well, I could almost name some of them now. Some of the likely candidates have already gained the ear of the legislature to demand that anyone opposed to their own far left positions be censored and preferably banned.'

That's the most insidious and anti freespeech proposal that I've
Come across.
That's going to drag some menagerie of freaks and weirdos out of the woodwork of media and political lefty fringes.

Have a look at this! I've been haunting the euronews channel waiting for them to upload it.

Disregard the content - the Russian economy has proven robust (albeit with inflationary pressures). Instead, look at the inappropriate smirk and facial movement.

Looks like AI to me - now there are a few minor hiccups in the fluency of his speech that suggests otherwise but it has the look of it. Maybe humans are beginning to mimic AI now. Not a character you'd expect the Treasury Dept to be sending out to do interviews with Euro PBS.

Tim Dillon and Joe Rogan discuss the collapse in the credibility of journalistic integrity and propose Alex Jones as an alternative.

Okay, here's some reports from Infowars. We'll see if there's anything to the predicted grid attacks this year and if the environmentalists are animated by what appears to be a very significant ecological crisis.

'It’s coming whether we want to ignore it or not. Three years ago, the WEF’s Bond Villian Klaus Schwab announced the inevitability to the unsuspecting masses that a cyber attack will happen before 2025. '

'America may face an unprecedented “Black Swan event” in 2024 — a national security crisis with unpredictable high impact, CBS News’ investigative reporter Catherine Herridge predicted on Sunday.

During a “Face the Nation” roundtable discussion, host Margaret Brennan asked the participants their predictions about 2024.

“Well, mine’s a little dark,” Herridge began. “I just feel a lot of concern that 2024 may be the year of a black swan event. This is a national security event with high impact that’s very hard to predict.”'

'Researchers in the US have sounded the alarm over a spike in cases of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) among wildlife across North America, warning that the deadly virus could spread to humans.

CWD, also known as ‘zombie deer disease’, is caused by prions – abnormal transmissible pathogenic agents which alter their host’s brain and nervous systems, and leave the infected animal drooling, lethargic, stumbling, and with a blank stare.

Experts described the disease as a “slow-moving disaster” in a recent report by The Guardian. Dr. Cory Anderson, a CWD researcher at the University of Minnesota, explained that the illness is “invariably fatal, incurable, and highly contagious,” warning it is nearly impossible to eradicate once it infects an environment. Scientists have also noted that CWD is resistant to disinfectants, formaldehyde, radiation, and incineration at 600C, and can persist in dirt or on surfaces for years.

...

So far there have been no reported cases of CWD spreading to people, even though up to 15,000 infected animals were estimated to have been consumed by humans in 2017, according to the Alliance for Public Wildlife.'

'A resolution introduced in the House last month calls for the US to drop the charges against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who faces up to 175 years in prison if extradited to the US and convicted for journalism that exposed US war crimes.

The bill, introduced by Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), expresses “the sense of the House of Representatives that regular journalistic activities, including the obtainment and publication of information, are protected under the First Amendment and that the federal government should drop all charges against and attempts to extradite Julian Assange.”

...

Click here to find your representative, or call the House switchboard operator at (202) 224-3121. Tell them to support H.Res. 934 to protect the First Amendment and press freedom.'
