I have decided to start a new political movement . It is named after the book that inspired the American Revolution by Thomas Paine, Common Sense. We are about to be either returned to Common Sense or swept away.

I will be using this space to lay out my ideas and to accept advice. Over the past 6 months I have connected with some real activists. Our utube channel has a great success and now that I have time, it will be taken to the next level.

In tandem Scolairebocht has visited all the main sites and he is a recognized face. He imo, is as good an intellect as there is in Ireland in the area that we need, history, especially social.

There are a lot of people that I would like to interview. Stay tuned.

We are to be joined by others. We will be discussing between ourselves on our telegram channel. This will not be as in all others that I am on with alias handles. If you are unwilling to use your name and picture and be yourself, for whatever reason, then this is not something you will be part of alas.

Then Look at Reform UK, they are a fairly new political party in the UK and took the third highest vote in their recent GE.

Ironically, their first-past-the-post system only delivered them 5 MPs; had they had our system, they would have had 30-40 MPs.

The one thing they have is someone like Farage, he is intelligent, motivated, and a good speaker who inspires others.

The problem with the so-called far-right parties over here is that apart from immigration nobody knows any other policies, what we need is a political party that includes immigration but has different ideas and solutions for Ireland.

Over the UK Reform has some big backers, that is what any movement here needs, large finances. I think the US market could be tapped just as the IRA did back in the 70s and 80s collecting money to finance them of Americans. I'd wager a lot of Irish Americans are MAGA fans and would be shocked to know what is happening in the homeland and would be more than happy to fund a movement.

Any new party should have agricultural preservation & the rejuvenation of the army as its primary goal. The power that merchants have in Ireland should be translated to power for the army, who should run the country.
 
Gosh many thanks for your kind comments Declan, I don't think I have a famous face, but sometimes I have a famous voice! When I was in Dundrum I think it was Fiona, that was on the RTE debate a few weeks ago, called me over I am sure to give me some spiel about outside agitators causing trouble but when she heard me say a few words then it was like 'I know you and you're ok'!

Ok a simple idea is just to gather together a few people to form a kind of board of directors, committee, to come together and issue a statement now and again on the various issues. This would put a kind of focus on our efforts a bit and would help to coordinate protests etc. It would just be a committee that would meet face to face periodically and otherwise use a simple email list and maybe zoom the odd time.

But crucially it should be absolutely clear that such an organisation has nothing whatsoever to do with elections, neither now nor in the future, full stop. Now why I hear you ask?

Well first of all we have a gap of probably five years, about, before any other election, and these are likely to be very difficult years for Irish people, so we have an opportunity of forgetting about elections for a while, that I think we should take. And incidentally it also means, I believe, that we wouldn't have to register with the stultifying bureaucracy in this country that destroys everything, but which might be necessary if we were electorally focused.

For what its worth I think democracy is very important, not least in Ireland where actually a lot of the time it has been very successful, but we have to stop fooling ourselves, we don't have democracy in modern Ireland. The odds are stacked too much against people, in joining what is a rubber stamp chamber for outside globalists interests and institutions anyway, and now, I believe, we have clearly got vote fraud which makes the whole exercise of contesting elections a certifiably complete waste of time, energy and money.

This also means that any talk whatsoever of 'concentrate on bread and butter issues', ' we don't want to scare the electorate in x y or z way even though it is what we believe', etc etc, should get a complete day off in this organisation. Nothing like that should ever be contemplated, it would only focus on what we think is the best way forward for this country and its people (by which I mean the ethnic Irish people, there is a small army of well funded organisations looking after the other groups here). We say what we think to be true and right, and to hell with the consequences in popularity or any other similar consideration.

Also there is a genuine tradition in Ireland of a prayer been said before meetings, even IRA meetings in the past, and a very long tradition of that in political/legal institutions in Ireland (and England actually) going back many many centuries. So I would ask that we do the same here, and open and end face to face and other meetings with a short Hail Mary (which obviously nobody has to join in with if they don't want to).

So its just an organisation which would put out a statement now and again (there would no need for any other web structure than just a forum on here if need be to publish the statements) saying that this pornography shouldn't be taught in the schools, or this protest is been organised against this IPAS centre please come to it, whatever, and maybe it could evolve into something bigger as time goes on. (If we do get another pandemic for example, it would have to try and advise people, at least a little, on taking vaccines and wearing masks, and if we were to oppose it it could build a bit of solidarity among us.)

For example here is a simple thing, we could try and organise some kind of rudimentary welfare system, even soup kitchens or something, or some aid to the homeless. You might say why, when you have so many charitable institutions already? Because Irish people are at the end of a long queue at these places now, this would be focused on Irish people if we could do so.

I propose a motto as well, 'Do cum glóire Dé agus Onóra na hÉireann', which is obviously a famous Irish motto used very extensively for media outlets and organisations here in the past. It is said that it was used first by Michael O'Cleirigh, the compiler of the Annals of the Four Masters about 1636, saying he did that 'For the Glory of God, and the Honour of Ireland'.

Just a few thoughts anyway...
 
And yes Fedaralist I think farmers are going to be at head of a storm quite soon, and are in England already, maybe even if H5N1 takes off they will propose to kill all livestock and chickens. We want farmers to be allowed to produce food and be focused on that. And I think a strong statement on Irish neutrality would be in order as well...

Here is our position.
A Pakistani, a Roma, a Paddy, A Nigerian, and an Eskimo are drowning in The Liffey and a Roma comes along with 1 rope, who does he save. ???

maybe instead a Pakistani comes along with 1 rope, who does he save?

or maybe it is the Nigerian or Eskimo that happens along with a single rope.

The reality is that none of these outcomes are favorable to Paddy in the water!!!!


But let’s say an Irishman comes along with actually 4 ropes. Now who gets saved????
This day, Paddy is brown bread.

Common Sense says that the first lad saved is Paddy. End of story.

As I said, I have become acquainted with a lot of people as we devoted our utube channel to just getting established. I am finally ready to interview and expect maybe 2 a week. These are exploratory in nature and many will find for example Alan, to be far too radical. We will be discussing tactics away from prying eyes on our telegram chat

Real political change throughout history has almost always come through violence or conflict, not through democratic reform. Take Ireland, for instance. It wasn’t through polite negotiation that the Irish gained independence—it was through the bloody War of Independence against the British. Similarly, the United States, a country that prides itself on democratic ideals, was founded through the violent American Revolution. Appeals for fairness or autonomy fell on deaf ears until they were backed by force.

This isn’t just limited to these two examples. Look at the French Revolution or the Russian Bolshevik Revolution. Entrenched power structures rarely, if ever, willingly give up control. They only budge when their hold on power is forcibly broken.

Fast forward to modern times, and what do we see? Supposed "democracies" are really just systems where two dominant political parties control the narrative and the power.

  • In the U.S., it’s the Democrats and Republicans. These parties are funded by the same corporations and elites, ensuring no real systemic change. Look at political dynasties like the Bushes, Clintons, or Kennedys—families that have maintained influence across decades.
  • In the UK, it’s Labour vs. Conservatives. Two sides of the same coin. Despite their rhetoric, their policies often converge on critical issues, especially when it comes to maintaining the status quo.
  • In Ireland, Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil have held power for nearly a century. Despite pretending to be political rivals, their differences are superficial at best.
It’s not just these countries. India revolves around the Indian National Congress and the BJP, often tied to dynasties like the Nehru-Gandhis. In Germany, the CDU and SPD dominate. Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party has been in power almost uninterrupted since the 1950s. The pattern is clear: two parties dominate to give the illusion of choice while ensuring the system itself remains untouched.

The two-party system (or variations of it) serves a critical purpose: to divide the public into manageable factions. It creates the appearance of a functioning democracy while ensuring that no real systemic change is possible. Think about it: elections often boil down to voting for the “lesser evil.” Meanwhile, the policies that matter—those that affect wealth distribution, corporate power, or systemic reform—rarely change.

The media plays a huge role in perpetuating this. Owned by the same elite class funding these parties, the media amplifies trivial differences between the two sides, keeping the public distracted from the fact that both parties ultimately serve the same masters.

Can Change Happen Without Violence?

Historically, the answer has been no. Major change has always required upheaval, whether through war, revolution, or massive civil disobedience. Peaceful reforms tend to be incremental and often get reversed by those in power.

But there’s some hope. Technology and social media have allowed grassroots movements to challenge traditional power structures, though these efforts are often co-opted or suppressed. Still, the entrenched nature of power means any attempt to break the system will face immense resistance—sometimes more than mere words or protests can overcome. Is it any wonder they are desperate to control this and jail anyone who challenges them under the guise of hate speech.

Until we recognise and address this reality, democracy will remain an illusion—a carefully constructed facade to keep us thinking we have control, while the same entrenched powers continue to govern unchecked.
 
I will play Devils Advocate.
As seen by and large from the protests, we are not dealing with the 77 men on Lexington Green at 5.30 am with the women observing in fear. We are dealing with the women out front and the men watching Africans playing for Liverpool.
However, we are not dealing with brave Redcoats either, we are dealing with Simon Harris and Michael Martin and “The Clipboard”.

I don't get what happened in the thread regards deletions, not my issue, but Keith is young, he might grow into being an actual politician, he is in his intellectual phase. Luke O'Connor is a good lad, the IFP stuck knives into him, where It's not like they wouldn't considering the lot that they are, some are or were very decent, a lot were not, where I don't know yet, where he will turn.

Again, common sense is not common. Especially in politics. The whole phrase "common sense" is a misnomer, propaganda is whats is pushed regards the new pulpit, which today is tv, radio and the press for the increasingly old generation. That's what the bernays of the world and his ilk are good at.

The new media is the social media, and the new generations, the younger generations is what ye should be focusing on, with the tech that all of us have on hand, that is what the system fears.

Apologies, I do not get the reference, Is this regards the previous elections ?

An awful lot of candidates were paper candidates in reality regards the nationalist vote, but thought they were going to sweep the thing some how, without doing any work on the ground having built a team on the ground before such, to help them do such, a lot of notions.

Ye can do it purely as a social media candidate at the locals at least, where ye put the work in as such, not that I like that, it is extremely fake a lot of the time, but the reality is that it can work, if ye have the ability to do such and put in the time.

So many of these candidates were spastics, no offense, need to pick better candidates, where it is hard to find people to put their necks out that have the ability to do what is needed to get at least a good showing the first time round. The second time round is the next phase of a potential candidate, ye ain't floating into an electoral position at the general elections without serious physical backup.

The first phase can be and should be the locals, the second the generals, if the generals does not work out then work hard doing the job at a local level that ye were elected for, the third attempt at the generals etc....

Ye need to put the work in, simple as. Posters are not worth a damn if people don't recognise ye from said poster that ye are running, whether that be from online, in the community or on the door. Civil war politics boomer generation or people that are happy to see their house price go up were going to vote fffg anyway without the posters, once they hit the ballet box, unless you as a candidate had made an impression otherwise.

Sometimes a poster can stand out, with a large provocative message and a name, but that can work at a local level, not at the national level, it's a numbers game in the end. Without the work done on the ground and on the social media, the posters are a waste of money and time putting them up and taking them down.

As example, ye need to build relationships with a community under attack, talk, build friendships, help out regards a protest etc... There are lots of ways at such, but ye need the time on hand to do such and to want to win.

Not possible, time has shown little or no permanent cohesion, much division & opposition, hatred and disregard within the towns/counties/country.
Only a few adversely affected will rise together - For the occasion, for a while.
Everyone else who knows the above will steer well clear.

Try explain that to https://nationalparty.ie/patrickquinlan/ He got in on the council through years of work and a group around him, in an area that is surrounded by foreigners lad in Blanchardstown/Mulhuddart. Awful lot of work was done on the ground, but it was done, and we achieved success despite the enormous weights against us. If others were willing to put in such effort, and build a group around themselves, then ye can, it takes time and effort over years, but it can be done.

Certainly I agree with what you say above, good credit to all involved, congratulations to Patrick Quinlan and team, supporters.
Just what springs to mind (and i'm not familiar with the area today) in fact the last I heard about Blanch was from a poster when he was called Catalpha some 8-10 years ago or more. He gave a good fairly good description of how the place was being taken over by the foreigners back then so obviously now it's much worse??
I'll fall back to my previous comment that it's only the truly adversely affected who'll put on the marching boots.

Who knows, once these new expanded IPAS's get into full capacity planting mode, we probably will see some further signs of awakening, or at least a bit more talking out loud will be heard, mostly crickets at the moment, imo.
