you usually make a lot of sense --not today --kill as many Irish as you can -regardless of age sex or mental capacity -include the elderly and newly born special needs etc.

i worked with Iranians in London and Ethiopians and both were humbling as my manners were so crude and their manners were so gracious and sophisticated.
the iranians were very tech savvy and were natural engineers and treasured education .
look up podcasts by the wonderful Iranian professor Mirandi on George Galloway and judge Neapolitanio and many other sites .
he is wonderful and very articulate and is a war veteran -- makes great listening .

prof jeffry sachs explains it well when he states trump has no personal depth no personal knowlege of what he is doing and is incapable of figuring things out for himself --he does whatever the last voice he hears tells him to and that is the despicable witcoff and the totally sleazy and evil lindsey greaham usually -- both are the last people on earth anyone should listen to and they serve israel only and have no regard for america.

Yes, saw that Miranda chap on judge, excellent professor. Have worked with a few Iranians, have also found them to be very polite. This soon to be war is very odd, if nothing else, every country should obtain nuclear weapon capabilities, only way to keep larger countries at bay.

Not just the expense, the nuclear carriers take something like ten years to build with a projected service life of fifty years at least. Add to that the many years of design and planning and prolonged decommisioning and each ship has a 'life' of around 100 years.

They are there to project power, not be blown up by those that might be able to match that power nor are afraid to risk the ire of Uncle Sam.

Yet what will also be weighing heavily on the minds of the US and Israel will be what damage could Iran inflict during such a conflict, however brief, or overwhelming, the Israel/US victory. Losing a carrier will not look good, two would be a disaster and having Tel Aviv made a total mess could only detract from whatever Israel claims to be a win. We are still not fully aware of what damage was inflicted last time, Israel is continuing to lick its wounds it seems, it may not want a repeat any time soon.

Then the Sec of Defence Robert McNamara ordered him to recall the planes. He refused, assuming they did not understand what was going on. LBJ came on the line and ordered him to recall the planes. Which he did.

The sailors were saved by a miracle. One Israeli pilot saw the US flag and refused to drop the bombs, others may have deliberately missed. But they were still doomed. The next thing either one or more soviet planes came along. The Israelus then broke off, as the soviets would have the video evidence.
