Israel realised that early on and jumped ship just a few days in, leaving Trump to flounder in the mess. It was a hrad lesson for him, America wasn't as great as he believed.

I cant see any way out for Trump.

Iran either maintains its control on the Straits or Trump offers them some other obscene concessions, like full sanctions relief and setting up a continuous air bridge to Tehran with planes stuffed with pallets of shrink-wrapped 100 dollar bills.

Whats the alternative? Bomb them? Again? They will just relatiate in kind throughout the region.

The only other option is to drop a nuke. Thats not really an option.
