Do you prefer medieval & neo-classical art & archictecture to Modernist & post-modern?

I know it's unrealistic to build medieval & neo-classical architecture & paint or sculpt visual art of this nature but personally I still prefer this kind of art & architecture to Modernist or post-modern types.

I like the Old Buildings ~ ~ Works of Art in comparison to what is being produced today !

my first cousin is a senior person at the Guggenheim in new York .
i went there and i was shocked by the ugliness - disturbed almost evil so called art .
i sat and watched as older people brought a younger person who was clearly appalled by the offering on display and the older person went to LA LA land to try and interpret what it was and he failed with me and with his pupil.
this is what Hitler who was a middling painter exposed as Jewish art and the Guggenheim is Jewish and is repulsive in its rejection of beauty and humanity .

Did you see where some dude left his shoe on the floor in an art gallery and the public thought it was an exhibit and started taking pictures? That's how stupid some people are. Anyway "modern art" is a money laundering exercise, proof is that someone paid $5 million for a banana stuck to a wall.

This actually happened .
30 years ago there was a modern art exhibition in Dublin airport and the aer lingus mechanics went there on the lunch break and were gobsmacked by the mystery of the ART and decided to enter an exhibit from ""scrap in the hangar "" welded together and called "man from the east ""
which duly won 2nd prize and there was outrage when the mechanic collected his prize in his overalls .
what is really missed by me in the airport is the real art of the stainless steel "" pigs will fly sculpture"" which used to be on the ground floor and was genuinely humorous and every visitor to Dublin who saw it had their picture taken and i heard the familiar humorous and favorable comment there is only one country in the world would put it at airport arrivals -- we lost our sense of humor when some dry bastard got rid of it .

The Simpsons did a hammer job on "modern art". Homer had to build a DIY barbecue and the whole thing ended up a tangled mess of bricks, grill plate, and cement. Later he entered it in an art competition and won. They went mad for Homers art and you can imagine the rest.
