It's a distraction from the knife attack, an opportunity to cement power and a reaction to Wilders' success in Netherlands.

One of the most significant problems we have is the government's efforts to evade responsibility for their behaviour during SARS_CoV_2. Whatever the repercussions should be, this evasion is disrupting the normal business of the state.

Just cause they dress pretty don't mean they got the gift. And they're demonstrating this. Will an effort to insert November the 23rd into the national consciousness be made now? It doesn't exactly have a ring to it.

For example thankfully for all of us, it's no longer legal to bash a Gay and of course they should have equal rights too.

Everyone's equal in the eye's of the law.
Law's are meant to apply to all from the youngest to the oldest.
And designed to protect Everyone's rights.
But that's not the case.
Law's for protection of women, children minority etc.
The Law's are fragmented, might have been with good intentions.
But that's to my mind diminished an equal rule of law for all.
And with the hysteria unfolding hate speech legislation is going to be galloped through by that noxious creep Varadkar and his wooden head minister for justice to prevent any discussion or protests.
To finish political parties are marketing organisations that have totally abandoned any core beliefs or policies.

Irish people by natural instinct are welcoming and find the odd fish entertaining and they give people who are poets and musicians great latitude in their behavior and eccentricities and have done so for centuries .
the only opposition /criminalization of the gay community in my lifetime was not from the farming community or miners or bus drivers or carpenters but from the priesthood whose governing body decided they would not be heterosexual as it would compromise their costings of how to enslave people for life for nothing .
had they to fund a family which contained a priest then the economics would be totally different .
i had an aunt who became a nun and the chief admin/CEO of a hospital -- all without wages for her lifetime .
she was made a nun by 17 and was not allowed to meet her family for a year to disconnect the bond between parents and child and child and parents
. HOLY VOWS were administered and----- a public---- both for men and women a requirement to prostrate themselves on the ground in front of the bishop while the family were witness --sealed the bargain along with the killing of the romantic/maternal instinct of women by being given a ring and told they married GOD.
