An attempted child abduction on Sheriff St today. A lad took a baby from a pram and the mother started screaming until some lads grabbed yer man and held him.

Hope they gave him a good hidin'.

Guards have him in custody.

Looks like we nearly had a major blackout in the power grid today.
The frequency took a big nosedive down to 49.8 at 19.30.40., whatever the cause.
I believe if it goes down to 49.7 that's when the shit happens.

@valamhic will be happy. With a thousand coming south each week now, the demand will grow, especially if the taxis are electric for the long trip from Belfast.

Three Irish men have been charged in connection with more than 60 "sophisticated residential burglaries" in Australia.

Police in Melbourne, who arrested the trio at a hotel near the city's airport this morning, allege that the men were responsible for the theft of more than one million Australian dollars (€610,000) in property, including cash, jewellery and designer handbags.

. . . In March, three other Irish nationals were arrested in connection with burglaries in Melbourne, and police believe that the six individuals are all part of the same crime syndicate.

Tories thumped in UK local elections. Tories 2.0 'The Reform Party on 17% of the vote. The more things change the more they stay the same.

I hit a personal best at the bench press today. Supposedly Val on recently turning 50 is the second best bench presser in Ireland, in the over 50s so if I can get to within 75 lbs of him, I will be doing well.

Aside from him, who here has the best.

Would anyone like to guess mone today. A pint of Guinness at their local is the prize.
