General Chat in The Marcus Lounge.

Irish government and state mouthpiece broadcaster doing untold damage to our country again.

Rte degenerates, virtue signalling as usual. Easy to boycott the Eurovision, obviously not going to win and costs a lot of money, now imagine Ireland boycotting the world Cup in soccer, because Israel were in the qualifiers... Not a hope.

Martin Nolan again, two and a half years for a bit of boisterous behaviour from a guy who was half pissed and got caught up in the disorder while the same judge lets child and adult rapists off with suspended sentences.

Excellent Point.

Just to clarify for Diarmuid but also for other new guys maybe:

The owner of this site is Declan Kelly ('Declan' here), originally from Galway and an engineering graduate from UCG, living now in Massachussetts in the US. But sometimes for technical matters he defers to the help of others.

If you look at the companion youtube channel to this site, with the same name, you can see many videos and interviews by him from the States.

Pardon me if it's a touchy subject, but who is the boss of Sarsfield's?
Lol, that is the best question of the year.

I pay all the bills and set it up. In the last year to 18 months I have devoted considerable time and effort in my fb and utube and would be well known in the nationalist effort I believe anyway. That and other matters have left me stretched.

So I have delegated to @Anderson @jpc and @scolairebocht

@scolairebocht is a historian with many books and is busy writing one now . I know and trust him for years and is a Treasurer for me in a venture.

@Anderson is my tech guy. He had an effort at his own site called The Irish Cruzader but it is very difficult to garner posters. I do not know him although some claim it is a lad in a video from either galway or Roscommon, but as I said, I do not know. If I go to Ireland again, I will request a meeting but most likely to be unknown.

@jpc, I know nothing at all. Apart from being a solid educated poster. A nationalist, so I imagine him to be about 55 or so in my own mind.

We lost a few good posters, drifting off or just throwing in the towel. And a year ago we lost our vital man due to death.

But we soldier on. We have about 40 posters and it would not take much to take it to the next level.

My ventures elsewhere is to feed a few homeless. A modest venture

A far great venture is to buy a piece of land, or a pub to set up a “base” to form a Clan.

That is me having the craic with Ron Paul after being inviteed to his 90th birthday by the other man , an important Texan, doen in Lake Jackson last August. Myself and my son did a roadtrip including Boot Hill in Tombstone Arizona etc for 3 weeks.

I told him it was a great honor to meet this famous Irishman and everyone had a great laugh at that.

Ron Paul is the greatest American since Larry McDonald, since Barry Goldwater

He's right.
The EU is now an authoritarian regime throwing it's weight about like the fascists of old.
It needs to either return to it's roots as an economic bloc only or disband entirely.
This Fourth Reich shit won't wash.

US-based tech billionaire Elon Musk has called for the dissolution of the European Union after the bloc fined his social media platform X.
On Friday, the European Commission fined X €120 million ($163 million) for “breaching its transparency obligations” under the 2022 Digital Services Act, which sets standards for accountability and content moderation. The ruling called the platform’s blue checkmark system ‘deceptive’ and accused it of weak advertising transparency and failing to provide required data access.
In a series of posts on Saturday, Musk, who often accuses Brussels of imposing excessive regulations, argued that “EU bureaucracy is slowly smothering Europe to death.”
“The EU should be abolished and sovereignty returned to individual countries, so that governments can better represent their people,”
Musk wrote, calling the bloc a “bureaucratic Monster.”

Musk, who also owns Tesla and SpaceX, has previously described the EU as a “giant cathedral to bureaucracy,” arguing that over-regulation suppresses innovation.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio criticized the ruling as “an attack on all American tech platforms and the American people by foreign governments.” US Vice President J.D. Vance said the EU had targeted X for “not engaging in censorship.”
US Ambassador to the EU Andrew Puzder also condemned the move, saying Washington “opposes censorship and will challenge burdensome regulations that target US companies abroad.”
European Commission Executive Vice President for Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy Henna Virkkunen defended the fine, saying that “deceiving users with blue checkmarks, obscuring information on ads and shutting out researchers have no place online in the EU.”
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski reacted to Musk’s tirade by posting, “Go to Mars. There’s no censorship of Nazi salutes there,” referring to accusations that the entrepreneur had performed the salute while celebrating US President Donald Trump’s second-term inauguration in January 2025.
