In all seriousness though, what the hell are they thinking, Hamas is the official government of Palestine, today our government has recognised them as a legitimate authority over Palestine and in a sense supports their attacks on Israel.

Spain on the other hand has just invited Israel to officially recognise the Catalan region!

What I do now expect is for Israel to retaliate against Ireland in some way, either they dig up dirt on this government or they kill someone quietly in the night. They could even support the Irish who are standing against the government regarding immigration and technically start to fund a new IRA, at this stage anything is possible.

You also have to wonder why our government is doing this at this time, are they chasing votes in the coming elections from our new Islamic guests?
