If sister Connolly had minded her business the Israelis wouldnt have had the chance to lay a hand on her. But Sister Virtue Signaller sailed off to the Middle East to save the the brown people from each other. I dont see how it's our problem now

Excellent post. 2008, the Irish government paying out to the "unsecured" creditors will go down in infamy. That's like Paddy power paying out win, lose or draw....but IIRC the government was told by Geithner, that a bomb would go off in Dublin if the government defaulted. Great friends of Ireland all right.

The real infamy is that post 2008 no one in this country really asked why they did this. What was the “democratic” logic they did this under. How did they justify themselves as protecting the interests of the majority.
