They are gaslighting us all the time, telling us that our white Irish ancestors were guilty of enslaving blacks, exploiting browns and gassing jews.

This is a local version of a guilt trip used on all white countries to shame them into open borders nonsense.

This thread is an honest attempt to list and quantify every ethnic Irish act of violence done and every hurty word uttered against blacks, browns and jews.

1.Ethnic Irish involvement in lynching blacks and jews in the US. From the end of the Civil War to the 1960s.

Guestimate total lynchings: 500
You'd need at least 200 to run a lynching in a safe manner. We'll estimate 10% of population as ethnic Irish.

That gives us 50,000 total lynch mob of which 5,000 were ethnic Irish.

It seems that the vast, vast, vast majority of lynchees were guilty as charged: murder or attempted rape. As with Leo Frank, who murdered an Irish girl. The reason for the lynching was usually because it was clear to the locals that crooked judges were trying to save the criminals from the death penalty. As was the case with Leo Frank.

If we can find a single innocent lynchee, we should certainly apologise for the actions of the Irish. Betcha there wasn't even one innocent.

I invite the crankier contributors to post other incidents of ethno-Gael violence and hurty words directed at BBJs - blacks, browns, and judaeo-muslims.

Sticks and stones no longer apply. I cannot say in truth what I think is our only recourse.
But this is all going towards unsalvageable.

Well historically, we might include that:

The majority applauded Oliver J Flanagan's dáil speech.

Dev denounced reports of Bergen-Belsen concentration camp as "anti-national propaganda".

He also signed the book of condolence on Hוtler's death and personally visited Ambassador Hempel.

After the war we gave refuge to hundreds of Nazi war criminals, and facilitated their escape to south America.

We refused the admittance to Ireland of 100 Jewish orphans found at Bergen-Belsen death camp, citing "strong anti-Jewish feeling in this State which is particularly evident to the Alien Section of the Department of Justice".

We continued to apply the same racialist criteria to Jewish refugees long after the Nazis were defeated and everyone knew about the Holocaust.

So not a great track record there towards the Jews, even before the present age of zionophobia.
 
Then regarding our historical attitudes towards black people, well, remember we only became "white" through our social and political choices regarding African Americans (as per historian Noel Ignatiev’s 1995 book, How the Irish Became White).

I.e. Arriving as impoverished Catholics, we faced severe discrimination from the established Anglo-Protestant majority. Job postings famously carried signs stating "No Irish Need Apply", and we were often relegated to the lowest-tier manual labor.

So to escape the bottom rung of American society, we Irish strategically aligned ourselves with the dominant political structures, aligning with pro-slavery and anti-abolition positions serving as proof of our loyalty to the American racial hierarchy.

The big problem with death penalty is that crooked judges will happily sentence the innocent man to death.

2026: Belfast Gael hits Sudanese man on head three times with a hurley and uses hurty words. For context, the Sudanese man was busy gouging out the eyes of a kind hearted Scots Gael, who had foolishly helped the Sudanese man move into the area.

The Belfast Gael made the mistake of hitting the Afro on the top of the skull. The weakest part of the skull is the side temple. Only use this info in a strictly legal self defence scenario.

Salvage is always possible, though it might take 800 years. :)

The citizens of Ceuta forced some (not all) of the invaders to leave by the heroically brave method of going unarmed into their streets carrying the Spanish flag and screaming insults at the darkies. It worked, at least partially. Most of them have left. (I'm not sure am I personally brave enough to do that. Hopefully it won't be necessary.)

How many more fucking times do you need it explained to you that statistics alone can only show associations.

True, the twentieth century Nazis who apparently inspire you believed that causation was just a species of correlation.

But it has been a long time now that scientists understand that correlation is not causation, in fact it is far from it.

So your attempt to use statistics to back up your racist theories in the present era exhibits a profound lack of scientific understanding, and sheer ignorance.

Do you understand that?

So then tell us whether what is in posts 10,13,14,15,16,17,18,20 for instance, might have any bearing, if someone sat down to seriously make a judgement on the complex causes that some of these statistical phenomena no doubt tell us we need an answer to the question, "why"?

Apparently Emmett Till  raped the white Woman. Not merely 'whistled' at her.
The reason this info was suppressed by those that lynched Till was to preserve the 'honour' of the victim. In the deep south at those times a young white Woman being raped by a black man meant she had no marriage prospects and would likely be ostracised by her community.

Presumably nobody, not even jews, is going to claim that Leo Frank was innocent??? And nobody will deny that the single biggest ethnic group involved in lynching him was Irish/Scots Irish.
