In a bike shop hidden down an alleyway off Dublin’s Moore Street, three Brazilian delivery riders discuss what they say is a rising number of xenophobic attacks on riders.
Speaking to Prime Time on the day he returned to work after the Grafton Street assault, Mr Carvalho said that he has lived in Brazilian cities such as Sao Paulo and Belo Horizonte.
"In those two cities, I have never had my phone stolen or been assaulted and it happened here," he told Prime Time.
Ali Mohammed has been working as a delivery rider since he arrived in Ireland from India a few months ago. His biggest concern since arriving here has been the cost of renting somewhere to live.
Matheus Tanner says that life in Ireland does not live up to expectations for many Brazilians. "It's concerning because you come here wanting a better life, and you end up being sold a dream that doesn't exist."

Simple solution, fuck off back to your own countries.

I feel so sorry for Matheus Tanner having been sold a dream and now finds it is all dust. That's terrible maybe someone could start a gofundme page and give 'ol Matheus a dig out. I mean what's a couple of hundred thousand euro to us? Poor lad willing to work delivering food to all those starving Dubs. A word of advice to Matheus would be, to ask for his money back to whoever sold him the dream.

Much better profits for those who'll ride Dublin's Rickshaw's.
Damn stupid foreigners would want to start reading the newspapers and learn how it's done - Brazilian's are famous for it!

Doesn't Eamon Ryan own a bicycle/camping store?🤔

He did the last time the 'green' party were in office and brought in the bike to work scheme.....
I cant help think Ryan will be furious with all the tents being destroyed and creating waste, someone should ask him what the carbon footprint of all these tents are doing to the environment.
