I see it myself. I walk down that street a few times a week, and every week, without fail, there are gangs of foreigners - generally Roma - loitering in different parts, blocking the streets, throwing food on the ground, hassling security in the ilac centre. Now, most Irish people keep the head down but I barge through the fuckers and let them know what I think of them.

But it's the old dears I feel sorry for. They remember that street as a real Dublin street. Brendan Behan used to hang around there, buy salmon from the fishmonger and chat with the traders.

Now the character is gone, replaced by an alien infestation. No wonder so many people Irish people refuse to even go near the place.

A guy on the Niall Boylan show said he was given two days to vacate his "room" for a more needy case.

A lovely woman from Somalia got a direct flight to Dublin with her daughter and moved in. He is now living in a car, after working for 30 odd years.
