Well, the politicians/useless eliters are liberal. But the majority have had way more than enough.

How do we signal this to our rulers? Part of the solution is direct daily contact and lobbying our politicians. Councillors are more accessible than TDs.

There's a religious zeal behind their virtue signalling - just without the actual religion.

And of course, the 3 countries you mentioned, nigeria, Jordan, Somalia.... There's no direct way to arrive here, bar traversing through a safe country. Farcical stuff, but with massive consequences for us. The Irish public servants would swallow a brick. Just take nigeria, it's the combined size of France and Germany.... (A) Why are we now taking in 20k "refugees" each year when not so long ago we took in very little?

(B) And even so, what obligation do we have to take people into our tiny little island from all over the World (not to mention the fact it makes no difference. Did you watch the gumball video? Its very simple maths.) ?

(C) What wars are the people arriving here fleeing? And even where there is conflict, there's large parts of these Countries completely safe. For example why didn't the Ukrainians who came here move to western Ukraine? Why are Nigerian men coming here (treasure island they call it) claiming persecution when most of their Country is fine?

I watched a bit of one of those ceremonies and in the ceremony itself the "new Irish" were encouraged not in fact to assimilate and become "new Irish" but instead told to hold onto the culture of their homelands and the belief system they arrived with.

Its across the board. If you go into any school you'll see wee flegs of 100 different nations adorning the ceilings and walls where the children are taught not that they are Irish but that they are still where their parents arrived from. Instead of like in say the United States where its one fleg, one allegiance and that they are all Americans.

So when these kids come of age and they tell you themselves they're Russian, Ukrainian, Polish etc and not Irish and you take them at their word, the libtards will call you racist for not considering them Irish. Even though its the libtards themselves and whose system promote non-assimilation and not becoming Irish.

I think some assimilation is possible where the host culture is resilient and strong, and where the number arriving in the country are small. But in Ireland's case, the sheer scale of immigration means integration and assimilation are impossible.

Not only that, but the ease by which foreign individuals can obtain citizenship and therefore passports devalues what it means to be Irish.

What's difficult to obtain is more valuable.

What's to be proud of if our identity is for sale to the nearest bidder.

That's something the fuckwits in Leinster House and the NGOs will never grasp because they're largely ashamed of our identity and seek to complete transform what it means to be Irish.

Some will certainly assimilate, eastern European, even central Americans, know a few Mexicans, will my kids do, they are grateful to be living here. Indians, some will integrate or at least have a dual identity. Africans, very little integration, Muslims..... Practically zero integration.... They are not here to integrate anyway...shitshow

I'm not particularly interested in integration and assimilation tbh, I don't want to turn foreigners into the "New Irish", especially non-European.

I want Ireland to be (super) majority Irish and then, after that, White.
