Russia is waging a "malign" disinformation campaign aimed at the Paris Olympics and French President Emmanuel Macron, Microsoft warned on Tuesday, accusations Moscow dismissed as "slander".

So my guess is that France decided to go for a preemptive strike and let LGBT run the show before Russia will manage to spread any fakes about it and now Russians looks like idiots without any ability to spread fakes and mass redundancies in bot farms

A small confession If I may. I like France, and even many of the French. In fact I am sitting in the cool morning air outside a B&B in eastern France as I write this. I Have been here several days and not heard the Olympics mentioned once, in fact, I have seen very little evidence that they are taking place at all, one or two bill boards and that’s about it.

The adverts were in a town I passed through coming down this way. Soft drink companies are usually quick to jump on board this sort of bandwagons, but I’ve not seen any promotions at all. Tour de France, yes, Olympics, no.

It was a false apology.

One of the major themes of the ceremony was ‘La Cene’.

The event on the river was called ‘La Cene sur la Seine’ - “The Last Supper on the Seine” and the controversial section with the trannies was called ‘ La Cene des Cheffes’ which translates to “The Last Supper of the female chefs”.

It was 100% a mockery of the Last Supper of Christ. Only an idiot would not see it.
