People like Julie Birchill and Kathleen Stock are important enough parts of the "Putting away the Woke" coalition. In France Feminist or Feminist style rhetoric against Muslims has been an important part of "antiwokisme" (the awful Caroline Fourest who identifies as a "Lesbian" would be a prime example of this).

Still I suspect that most of the "Wokism" that men find annoying them in everyday life is Feminist or Feminist tinged.

It will be interesting to see how this all pans out.

Once the so called feminists acknowledge that there is very little discrimination against women in the once safe and progressive West - other than the stone age savage mentality we happily import and cosset at taxpayer's expense - we will have reached a turning point. But they remain stumm at the plight of indigenous victims of horrendous violence.
Third wave feminism ought to be consigned to the scrap heap of history

Too much ego and ideological investment to acknowledge it's flawed and of no interest to most people.
Look at the NWCI (national women's council of Ireland )
95% of it funded by the government.
It represents a small number of middle class lefties in Dublin.
It's an AstroTurf organisation .

The divide within feminism between the old school ones like Bindel and Germaine Greer and the "anti-terf" demons is interesting. But don't Greer and Bindel see that they must surely shoulder a lot of the blame for the current trans mania; and also the preponderance of pornography I would argue -two things they rightly abhor?

My body my choice; the push to remove all boundaries and limitations was always going to lead to this mess.
Women's reproductive health.
Twisted to full term abortion.
Health covers a multitude but this was an abomination of the meaning of the word.
Abortion can be a tragically necessary option for the life of the mother.
But demented old harpies pushing the limits stuck in the craw.
It was a celebration of the death of the unborn.
Not the saving of a mother.
A not so subtle difference.

Australia is a deeply misogynistic male chauvinistic society- Southern Ireland for the most part for millenia has not been that. So Germaine Greer who I admit I don't know much about being a Feminist is kind of different from someone here deciding that they are that in order to justify being a bitch, to be cool or whatever.

Julie Bindel in her youth was about changing restrictions and arguably increasing them (for instance banning or shaming women and girls out of shaving, make up and other stuff) than getting rid of them as such. The "anti-Terf" people have most certainly though adopted her authoritarianism and tried to turn it against her.

And irony is that if there was ever a strong minded and willed woman it was Una Bean Mhic Mhathuna. The type of "Liberalism" "The Irish Times" specializes in ignores this. You might even point to Gemma.

They are not reporters
They write advocacy pieces.
There's no need to examine a subject and the nuances.
Just write emotional hit pieces and don't worry about the rest because they have right on their side.

Don't women want to retain feudal values in society & are generally speaking opposed to Socialism?

I would support women who want this.

Germain Greer is a fascinating character who throws up contradictions by the dozen on each page she writes .
she is without a doubt very able but the well is poisoned and bitter .
i now with reasonable accuracy can tell if the critique of the works of shakespear is written by Greer she is so wide of the mark frequently and does not get shakespere at all at times despite being a scholar of renown .
she has vast reserves of intellectual horsepower and learned 3 languages by 12 and took then a notion she was Jewish learned fluent YIDDISH and would only date Jewish boys for some time .
her opening lines in a female eunuch which is her most famous book betray HER lack of commonsense which most women have about the world in which she states women will only be free if they can walk alone anywhere on earth at any time without fear .
that freedom is not available to any gender in any country and was never available and never will be.

Meloni claims to be a Feminist but she's probably the best politician in Europe now.

Does that mean Feminism is a good thing? I'm not sure.

Cossack why have you Sir Edward Carson as your Avatar?

That is Baron Julius Evola and not Edward Carson.

Baron Evola was a controversial social commentator and Religious scholar and Racial theorist of sorts as well as one of the founders of Italian Dada.

Trump has dumped on woke Bigly.
What will our copycat woke monkeys do?
Remember a lot of this shyte was introduced by tech companies.
All that bollox was.
Starting with twitter it was sent down the garry glitter.
Now it's over.
It's merit for now on apparently.

If Feminists are in bed with Israelis then I want nothing to do with them.

Islam is not the problem... it's Israel that is the problem.
