It appears we dont have a Russia thread.

Lets start tracking its decline.

"Uralvagonzavod, the flagship of the Russian tank industry, has announced a large-scale reduction in staff – in some units, the number of employees may be reduced by up to 50%.

This is reported by the Russian publication E1.

According to the publication, the company plans to lay off about 10% of its employees by February 2026 and completely stop recruiting new staff."

"On October 26, it became known that the Ashinsky Metallurgical Plant (AMP) in the Chelyabinsk region announced a reduction in production and staff.

The company specializes in the production of special alloys, rolled plates and electrical steel used in Russia’s defense, aviation, nuclear and oil and gas industries.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian military-industrial complex is gradually entering a phase of depletion, despite a short-term increase in production after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine."

Basically why Putin is demonized is because he dispossessed some of the jewish oligarchs who de facto ruled Russia in the 1990s. Taking money from one of them is regarded as a holocaust. They have been crying and causing trouble for Russia since that time.

The difference between ukraine and Russia is that no dictator ever rose in ukraine to dispossess the jew oligarchs there. So the jews in ukraine plotted to cause trouble for Russia. The maidan and subsequent war was mostly plotted by Jews. Namely Nuland, Groysman, Zelensky, Yermak, Kolomoisky, and Blinken and others. They lured Putin into invading ukraine.

Europe’s NATO member states should brace for a lasting rupture with Moscow, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has said, urging them to focus on supporting Kiev.
The Western nations have introduced multiple rounds of sanctions in an effort to economically isolate Russia since the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022.
The measures have recently been followed by a wave of military buildup across Europe, with governments rearming in response to the alleged Russian threat.
“I firmly believe Sweden, Estonia, and the EU must prepare for a long-term isolation of Russia,” Kristersson said earlier this week after meeting with his Estonian counterpart Kristen Michal in Tallinn.
Earlier this year, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia was “too large a part of the world to be isolated.” He has also warned that sanctions are a “double-edged sword,” arguing that every new package of restrictions creates negative consequences for the nations adopting them.

Kristersson also praised Estonia for raising its military budget to more than 5% of GDP, adding that Stockholm is “heading there too.” Earlier this year, the European NATO members agreed to increase armed forces spending to the same level in what officials described as a response to growing security challenges.
“We are not naive about Russia or its intentions,” he said, adding that Sweden is ready to support NATO’s eastern forces, strengthening deterrence and deploying air and missile capabilities.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said Moscow has “no reason and no interest — geopolitical, economic, political or military — to fight NATO countries.”
Earlier, Peskov noted that Putin has warned for nearly two decades that the military bloc’s eastward expansion undermines Russian national security.

Tank production should be teduced to zero, they are obsolete
Correct. A guy I know from the US military told me that they are getting rid of all of their tanks now because they can be easily taken out with $100 drone.

I would well believe it because The Marine Corps got rid of them about a year ago

NATO to deploy 800,000 troops in case of war with Russia – German general

Such a clash could happen “tomorrow,” Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank has warned

Berlin is prepared for a war with Moscow and stands ready to facilitate the deployment of 800,000 NATO troops towards the Russian border, the head of the nation’s joint operations command, Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank, has said.
The hypothetical deployment is part of Operations Plan Germany, which was revealed last year. The 1,000-page-long document governs Berlin’s response if Article 5 of the NATO treaty is triggered in a confrontation with Moscow. It includes turning Germany into a major logistics hub for the deployment of hundreds of thousands of soldiers and pieces of equipment from various NATO nations against Russia. The deployment must be completed within 180 days of the start of the conflict.
According to Sollfrank, the plan may be implemented sooner rather than later. “Russia possesses a very large military potential despite the war in Ukraine,” he told an annual Bundeswehr conference in Berlin on Friday, adding that “Russia is already capable of [launching] a limited attack on the NATO territory.”

Speaking to Reuters the same day, the general claimed that Moscow could do it “as early as tomorrow.” German officials have increasingly spoken of the alleged Russian threat while taking an increasingly belligerent stance towards Moscow.
Chancellor Friedrich Merz has previously declared that diplomatic options for resolving the Ukraine conflict are “exhausted” and doubled down on providing weapons to Kiev.
On Friday, both he and Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that Germany’s existence in its present form was threatened by Russia. “It is not alarmism… when I say that our way of life is in danger,” Pistorius told the military conference.
Moscow has repeatedly stated it has no intention of attacking NATO. It also dismissed Berlin’s claims as “nonsense” aimed at justifying skyrocketing military spending. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has previously warned that Germany demonstrates “clear signs of re-Nazification.”
Politico reported last month that Germany’s rearmament plans would cost it €377 billion ($440 billion).

i was in Russia with my wife when Putin came to power .
it was terrifying the starving elite troops Spetsnaz took over the airports as this was the only place they could get foreign currency to feed their families and they became the taxis everything and i remember insanely screaming at them to fuck off as they congregated around the single lady manning the information desk and she had to tell them firstly what i wanted ---and they would then tell her what to say to me .
i could have got killed -i could have got my wife killed .
we saw many oval bundles of rags of people who had died in the streets in minus 47 from starvation and exposure .
the figures at the time were an estimated 11 million EXTRA PEOPLE DIED FROM SUICIDE AND STARVATION.
the Jewish oligarchs with their american co religionists collapsed the ruble to 1/52nd of its value in order to get farms/ industries for cents .
if you had a pension/income of 520 dollars per month you now has 10 dollars to live on.
ALL the Jewish oligarchs now live in Israel --the last one to move there was abramovich the Chelsea fc man .
they have seized 2 billion of his money and he has donated it free to the people of the Ukraine however as he has included the Russian speaking population they will not allow him to donate it for free .
the Russians are a great people and Putin has saved them from a third Jewish holocaust -the Bolshevik revolution had a death toll of 60 million and 13 of the 17 members of the ruling Comintern were Jewish-- god bless Putin --god bless and protect him .

It's shocking to think that many of the heroic Russian generation who won World war 2 got starved and frozen to death in the 1990s. That was the gratitude they got from the oligarchs.

Zelensky sanctions leading Russian peace negotiator

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has imposed sanctions on several Russian officials, including Kirill Dmitriev, the Russian president’s economic aide and a key figure in the peace process.
The sanctions announced on Sunday also targeted five Russian publishing houses.
Dmitriev, who heads the Russian Direct Investment Fund, has emerged as one of leading negotiators in the Ukraine conflict settlement process. The Harvard-educated former banker has visited the US several times for meetings with officials from the administration of President Donald Trump to discuss peace initiatives.
Dmitriev has stressed the importance of dialogue and cautioned Washington against repeating what he described as the failed approach of Trump’s predecessor, Joe Biden. Policies based on confrontation have proven ineffective, he added.
In a statement published on his website, Zelensky accused Dmitriev of “spreading propaganda and attracting Russian investments into key sectors of foreign economies.” He also linked the move to Moscow’s decision to impose sanctions on Ukrainian officials, including Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.

Kiev said it would “share its proposals for new sanctions with the relevant partners,” adding that Russia “deserves far greater global pressure.”
The list of newly sanctioned officials also includes Lieutenant General Aleksandr Zorin, a member of Russia’s negotiating team at the Istanbul talks earlier this year. As part of the Istanbul process, Russia and Ukraine agreed to conduct several POW swaps and exchange the bodies of fallen soldiers.
Moscow has stated that it seeks a lasting solution to the conflict that addresses the root causes. Ukraine and its Western backers have repeatedly called for an immediate ceasefire, while Russia insists that this would only allow Ukraine to regroup its military and receive more weapons.
Speaking at the Future Investment Initiative forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last month, Dmitriev said Moscow believes peace can be achieved within a year.

"Traditionally, more than three-quarters of Russian Railways’ freight loading comes from the “big six” categories: coal, oil and petroleum products, iron and manganese ore, construction materials, fertilizers, and ferrous metals. In 2025, only one of these — fertilizers — showed modest growth. Three hree saw moderate declines, while two (construction materials and ferrous metals) suffered a major collapse.

Overall, out of 15 freight categories tracked by Russian Railways, only two show positive dynamics this year: fertilizers, and nonferrous ore and sulfur feedstock.

The steepest declines were in the loading of ferrous scrap (down 35 percent), ferrous metals (down 17 percent), grain (down 27 percent), industrial raw materials (down 18 percent), and coke (down 16 percent). Shipments of these goods, along with cement (down 13.8 percent) and construction materials (down 13.1 percent), have dropped so sharply that it clearly indicates a crisis."

"The underlying reason isn’t simply crisis in isolated sectors, but a systemic split of the economy into two Russias: the military‑mobilization economy, which receives budget inflows and continues to produce; and the civilian economy, which is losing demand, investment, and access to capital. It’s the latter that is driving much of the transport collapse.

Container freight—long considered “recession‑proof”—fell about 4%, the first drop in a decade. Construction cargoes dropped 13%, cement 13.8%, ferrous metals 17%, grain 27%"

EU states working to dodge new US sanctions on Russia – Politico

EU members Bulgaria and Romania have been working to save refineries owned by Russian oil giant Lukoil following US sanctions on the company, Politico has reported. Lukoil controls Bulgaria’s largest refinery, Neftochim Burgas, as well as Romania’s Petrotel.
Washington imposed sanctions on Lukoil last month, accusing Russia of lacking commitment to the Ukraine peace process. Moscow says it remains open to talks but wants a comprehensive deal addressing the root causes of the conflict. The measures take effect on November 21.
According to a Politico report on Friday, Bulgarian officials fear the sanctions could shut down Burgas – which supplies up to 80% of the country’s fuel – as banks pull support, potentially triggering fuel shortages and protests. Sources said Sofia is seeking an exemption and has asked Washington to delay the measures, although no details of the talks have been disclosed. Separately, Bulgarian lawmakers on Friday passed a bill allowing the government to take control of Burgas if necessary to shield it from sanctions, as well as approve its sale or nationalize it.

Romania’s fuel supply faces less risk from sanctions on Lukoil, as Petrotel covers about 20% of demand, although Bucharest is also considering seeking a sanctions extension, Politico sources claimed. Analysts told the outlet that a potential Petrotel shutdown would cause only mild price increases within the country, but could disrupt exports to neighboring Moldova, which relies heavily on Romanian supplies. Romania was the main supplier of oil products for Moldova in 2024, providing 99.1% of gasoline imports and 74.1% of diesel.
One source claimed that nationalization of Petrotel, while also on the table, is seen as a “last option” by Bucharest.
Days after the US sanctions were announced, Lukoil said it had accepted an offer from energy trader Gunvor Group to buy its subsidiary holding all foreign assets. Gunvor sought US Treasury approval – a required step for the deal to take place – but withdrew its bid after being accused of Kremlin ties. Gunvor has called the accusation “fundamentally misinformed and false.”

Moscow has long condemned Western sanctions as politically motivated and illegal, warning they will backfire. The Kremlin says energy sanctions violate free-trade principles and risk destabilizing global markets and pushing fuel prices higher.
