The major differences between the US and Ireland is the ease of getting a job. if you want to work , you just get a job. I actually never meet anyone that is unemployed.

So the question is. In my off season, say November through June, should I get a part time job. Say 4 eight hour shifts or 3 ten hour shifts. A few years ago I did about 4 weeks for UPS and made decent money as I was doing at least 10 hours a day and it was 7 days a week at about $30 an hour.

i do not like doing nothing . I find that when I go abroad, I end up going through 10k . I myself dont spend much but those with me, just like going to fancy places. Always the best restaurants within reason. They are all germaphobes so good hotels as well.

if on my own, it would be the cheapest kip in town for me.

so I might get a part time job. Ideally with some spanish speakers to kills two cuckoos with one boulder

Don't get a job in a hotel anyway , you"d be there to do 20 hours a week ,but in the first week you'd end up doing 50......30 an hour at UPS is decent pay

I don't think Celery is able to drive a van or any vehicle for that matter . Big Dan has a suburban 4.0 I believe.......and a gun (some sort of 9 probably a glock)

No body cares, or at least i dont anyway. Move on.

One of my focuses this winter will be polishing up on speaking Spanish which I can now read. So it is working with them or a month in Cuba or a month teaching englisgh as a second language somewhere. That is certainly another option.

If you put that on your CV, you may have difficulty securing a position. 🙂

Correct, they are both V8s and the head gasket is a weak point in that diesel engine.

I doubt if that poster has a degree in anything
He's a near'do'well , a social deviant ......it's just incredible that he talks about other people never having a job lol, I was and still am a for hire stonemasonry specialist for 24 years (small law practise on the side) ......he told me once he lashed down new cars to the floors of ferrys in Holland in the 90's that's the last time he worked IF that story was true

If you want to make money, then you have to have your own business really. But a significant number of people works just to be active, and indeed a great number volunteer.
But then you have @valamhic independent gentleman farmer , anti climate change lobbyist , internet celebrity and political/social commentator , landlord and independently wealthy .........and of course the king of kingscourt

I've seen on YouTube fellas in America claiming to make extra money by setting up vending machine and ATMs (private ATMs owned by individuals isn't a thing in Ireland/EU AFAIK) Do you have any knowledge of that sort of thing, have you seen it happening in your neighborhood ?

Most atms in say a restaurant is owned by a company and you are charged maybe $3 to make a withdrawal.

Here in Ireland, you have guys who have been on the dole for years because they have drink/Drug issues and spend their dole day in the pub/bookies and are broke the rest of the week. is there no equivalent of those lads in Massachusetts?

Can you imagine the Dems canvassers surrounding Declan on the street, would make for adventurous vids though, cream pie attacks and such . . .😜
If I was his close protection agent I would draw down on those cream faced dem loons from the shoulder holster concealed carry position to back them the fuck up :) I have extensive live fire training on handguns in 9mm and .45APC

Not to the same extent, even useless lads will be engaged in some type of hustle . Of course the serious druggies are zonked completely

I was with Dr Shiva for example, there was maybe a dozen “advisors” on WhatsApp. But there was a falling out. He believed Robert Kennedy was a fake and got into a court case and dispute with him. I advised that whatever the truth was about RFK , it was not wise to fight RFK in Massachusetts , and also piss you ff the antivax people that he needed. He called me stupid.

The problem was, I am smarter than him and informed him and then the conversation disappeared. He is vain.

Fast forward. RFK could be in the next administration, and Shiva is forgotten. He is not likeable, unlike me, who everyone likes on meeting.
