The question to be asked is how long have reliable records been kept?

But they are few and far between with negligible operations. 88 million barrels of oil used a day overwhelms anything they might even have thought of doing. There is no geoenginneering at scale (other than burning hydrocarbons) and no one knows what even should be done.

But what's causing the sudden opposing extremes - Polar heatwaves - Australia's drought & record bushfires suddenly change into the worst flooding ever - while California had a 10 record drought which suddenly changed to record rain and flooding from - Atmospheric Rivers - What cause that??
At the same time Canada had no rain (record breaking) and now the wildfires(record breaking) are to show and choking NYC??

Those big changes are too sudden to be attributed to a tiny negligible rise in CO2, you'll agree?
