The dangers of the Hard Left and so-called liberals.

We are often lectured by those who would consider themselves left of politics, liberalists, or so-called woke activists. The problem is that despite the so-called far right not actually existing they take it upon themselves to brand anyone who does not subscribe to their brand of politics as a member of the hard right.

Recently we had PBP TD, Paul Murphy claiming he was "kicked" by members of the far right,

“I went out to join protesters in front of the Dáil today who are campaigning for redress for apartment defects,” he wrote on Twitter this afternoon.

“I was surrounded by a crowd of far-right activists shouting in my face and with one kicking me.

Mr. Murphy believes the far right has a "toehold in society."

Who are these far-right people Mr. Murhpy claims to have attacked him,

Well see for yourself, it seems they were everyday people who were angry with the lockdowns.

The problem is unless you subscribe to the ideology of the far left, you are labeled far right, it matters not what the issues are, its all labeled far right.

Roc_ over on the Isle is another leftist who wants to label everything far right, the problem is nobody is buying their BS anymore.

The real danger is those of the far left, they are the ones calling for assaults, and attacks, and are happy to doxx and destroy people who stand up for what they believe in.

Just ask the former Tánaiste, Joan Burton, who spent several hours in a car at one point, unable to exit it, sources close to her say, for fear of physical violence from a crowd that included Paul Murphy himself. Mr Murphy was found not guilty of false imprisonment for that incident, but that does not make him innocent of intimidation using, in that case, the perceived threat of violence. Mr Murphy described those events as a legitimate protest. When people in the United States and elsewhere rioted and burned whole cities over a perceived grievance in 2020, did the good Deputy stand with democratic norms? Or did he stand with the rioters?

@Electricity posted this elsewhere, but again it highlights the very real dangers of those from the left,

As we know all too well on the right, the only actual "political violence" in America is the political violence committed against us.

During Trump's first term, there were hundreds of incidents in which leftist bottomfeeders like this one attacked white conservatives and Christians. In some cases, like the Covington kid or HanAssholeSolo, the entire news
media participated.

These same creeps lecture and gaslight us about "stochastic terrorism," closely following one of their biggest rules: always accuse your enemy of what you yourself are doing.

Now we have 40-year old soymale libtards murdering teenagers by running them over.

As journalists, politicians, and the deranged leftist activist sphere continue to fearmonger about the "far-right," we can expect to see a lot more of this in the future. Just
wait until Race Riot Season comes back around. Be prepared to defend yourself, and know the law of self-defense.

There is a GoFundMe for the murdered teenager, if you are interested in supporting his family.

It is indeed a sad state of affairs when one resorts to violence or other intimidating ways in order to shut down legitimate concerns or protests because they have different politics.

roc_ is in no way a Leftist- most people I think would still see someone who fanatically clutches wild eyed anti-Communist and anti-Muslim conspiracy theories to their heart as a Leftist, Dana over on P.ie and others who I always considered to be very silly I think were correct in labeling him a right wing extremist.

Indeed, his views are certainly extremist, and I would argue very dangerous.

I agree with you that the West is morphing ever more into a "Police State" and this process is being cheered on by people who claim to be all about "freedom", blah, blah, blah, etc. The thing about Paul Murphy though is that from a strictly Marxist analysis calling on the bourgeois State to get itself more powers to crush dissent is basically suicidal from a revolutionary Socialist perspective and that waxing lyrical about the supposed horrors of an undefined "Far Right" only serves to place on Leo Little Girls' Socks shoulders the mantle of decency at the very least.

Thank God at least that the gofundme page has reached 31k

The hard left and hard right are not too dissimilar in many ways.

Think of them like a horseshoe where the ends are closer together than the rest

Uh to a certain extent but it depends what segments of the Hard Left and the Hard Right you are talking about and in what aspects of what they believe, etc. Actual Fascism claims to be a synthesis of the best of the Hard Left and the Hard Right, and you get very similar claims to that from a lot of Islamists, but how many people in contemporary Ireland are close to being actual Fascists? This is what makes contemporary "anti-Fascism" in Ireland so disturbing.
