A businesswoman glassed a man in a pub garden after he overestimated when guessing her age.

Mother of one Joanne Dodd, then 39, attacked Carl Cooper after he guessed she was 43 during a light-hearted exchange at The Unicorn pub in Manchester in September last year.

Mr Cooper fled to the lavatory in an attempt to to get away from the heated situation, but when he came out Dodd ran towards him and twice shoved her wine glass in his face, a court was told.

He was left with a 10cm laceration to his face, narrowly missing his eye, and an injury to his thumb.

When questioned, Dodd, now 40, from Swinton, Salford, who runs a company that organises children’s sleepover parties, said she was suffering from “low self-esteem” at the time and said the banter was “disobliging’” towards her.

Well in a sense I was right. Things here started to go downhill at a rapid clip about two years ago. When the problem could no longer be hidden.
In Massachusetts this was when Texas and Florida pulled a STUNT and flew about 200 migrants into Martha's Vineyard. They were out within 24 hours and housed off the island. They were not just told get on the ferry and screw, they were housed at taxpayer expense. That was the first time regular people realized they were paying to house and feed illegal aliens. By now, all available hotels and motels are full, two here in Dedham for example. This event was sept 2022.

The next expected shoe will be a statewide tax increase. It will be income tax or sales tax or a fuel tax as the other taxes would be too small to generate large sums.

That lad is not correct. The only way for the Treasury to get the money is by tax and selling bonds. There are bond auctions almost every day nowadays. So investors must buy each and every bond and they do. The Fed does not buy bonds at an auction.

But they do in the marketplace from people who own bonds, so they provide price support. They use totally freshly created money for this and it is called QE.


Sometimes they sell the bonds they bought and the cash used to buy them, just disappears,this is QT.

Without the Fed, the system would not have lasted this long as buying bonds then would be so risky that it would be foolish.

This is one reason why I pay no attention to US electoral politics anymore. They’re more obviously fake than a Malaysian knock-off of a Louis Vuitton bag being sold on the streets of Paris. The media has now begun laying the groundwork for claiming, with a straight face, that the US electorate voted for the series of mask-wearing body doubles pretending to be Joe Biden.

We’ll see if they manage to get away with it again or not. But given how every Republican leader continues to “grow in office”, I find it difficult to believe that it makes any difference anyhow, given the probability that every election since JFK-Nixon has been “arranged” in some manner. The fate of Americans is now being determined in Moscow, Beijing, and Tehran, not in Washington DC, much less at the ballot box.
