Well, if you want to know about breaking news then infowars is a site that has to be checked and, what do you know, it has an update. Maduro has sent troops to the border with Guyana according to El Pais. The President of Guyana isn't impressed and is in consultation with the US.
'Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has sent troops to the border with Guyana in preparation for claiming 160,000 square kilometers of territory known as Essequibo, according to the Spanish daily El Pais.
An unknown number of Venezuelan troops has been dispatched to Puerto Barima, in the state of Delta Amacuro, the Spanish outlet said. Meanwhile, Maduro has unveiled a new map of Venezuela incorporating the territory, dubbed ‘Guyana Essequiba,’ after 10.4 million Venezuelan voters approved such a move in a referendum on Sunday.

Venezuela Mobilizes Army Ahead of Possible Guyana Invasion - InfoWars
No mention of this on the news networks. There was something on France 24 a few days ago but they put it down to Maduro rallying support ahead of the presidential elections in Venezuela. I can't see America or Europe putting up too much of a resistance given the general decline, the fumble in Ukraine and the Israelis following the Azerbaijani's example. There will be period, at least, of accommodations.
I'd say this is the reason why Maduro is throwing the dice on this. It could all be collecting seashells but it's not a good sign. Brazil is the one to watch here.
