Russian forces destroyed roughly 250 Ukrainian troops and five tanks in the Donetsk area over the past day, the ministry reported.

"The enemy lost as many as 250 personnel, five tanks and 12 motor vehicles," the ministry said.

In counter-battery fire, Russian troops destroyed an M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery gun and an M777 artillery system of US manufacture, two D-30 howitzers, one D-20 howitzer, a Grad multiple rocket launcher, a Bukovel-AD jamming station and an MLRS ammunition depot, the ministry specified.


Also unconfirmed news that the fortified industrial area of Avdiivka has fallen.

More self serving gibberish from NATO -

Stoltenberg called the military aid to Ukraine a "path towards peace," opining that the stronger Ukraine is on the battlefield, the stronger it will be at a negotiation table.

The Secretary General also opined that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not interested in peace talks. According to the official, NATO has seen no signals that Putin wants a peaceful resolution of this conflict, with Ukraine existing as a sovereign and independent state.


Is anybody listening to this guy anymore?
