Yep, saw that a week or two back, but in this case there appears to be a genuine belief in their own righteousness, so each are equally committed to achieving a consensus with no reference to those they are supposed to represent.

We need to fine tune it a little emphasise the complete isolation from those that put them in power but will suffer most from the consequences of the groupthink.
