It's likely. That was their MO early in the war. Plenty of verified accounts of mercs being killed by Ukro command. Along with their identifying features being interfered with, for want of a better word. Some were IDed by tatoos.

The Hindanstu Times is reporting that 200 took part and they were kicked out in pretty swift order, although no mention was made of casualties.
