It's crazy really! If Ukraine fails to retake ground in this next offensive then it looking like curtains for the war, surely due to the costs involved.
Ukraine's industrial and agricultural outputs will have been decimated in addition to the destroyed infrastructures and so consequently has no economy or finances to fund anything even bare survival - The debts and deaths are mounting by the day with no solution to end further wasteful destruction of desperately needed resources.
The News just did a report on a rarely discussed topic -The rebuilding of Ukraine, it's going to take between €420B-€800B to get the place ticking over again . . .
Obviously that won't happen until the war is over so . . . The clocks ticking . . . Time to quit poking the Bear and get rebuilding
East-West 50/50 win-win ASAP.

The reassuring message coming across here is that people are moving on from the propaganda and are starting to look at the war through a different prism, it's something that should only be encouraged.

Of course there is a cost for Ukraine but continuing to fight will always be cheaper in the long term than surrendering. They learned there is a terrible cost to appeasement. Its a lesson that seems to be relearned every generation.

Russia supplies 1/2 the world as they see fit - fair is fair, win win, They'll be doing BRICS discounts too while Us poor Europeans have to pay X3 for electricity & 25% on oil. It's actually Irish homes & German industry who face being cut off - And as for Ukraine . . .

It's a terrible cost, not to be encouraged or repeated. In the long term it's got to be Multipolarity. Diplomacy on Minsk2 would have saved a war.
The current cost of that war & rebuild is waaaay over €1000Bil + Lives and rising . . . 🤔 "Cheaper" how?
