In yet another instance of a Western official speaking the quiet part out loud, the Netherlands' defense minister issued some controversial remarks on Wednesday wherein she referred to supporting Ukraine as a "cheap" way to ensure Europe's security.

It's either Ukranian lives now, or Polish, Estonian, Finnish, etc lives, later.
Russian leaders are on the record that they want to advance into Eastern Europe. It would be much harder and far more expensive in lives to allow the Russians to get that far and only then push them back.

In the late Thirties, Hitler was allowed to take territory for appeasement reasons. It was a disastrous mistake.
No one serious is going to allow another megalomaniac to do it again in Europe. Putin must be stopped.

Thanks to the AFU, the Russian army has been worn down to a rabble. But even with crappy tubes, they can still kill people. Until the Russians stop shooting, I'm glad the AFU are keeping them alway from us.

NATO have committed a bare fraction of their equipment but the second most powerful country in military terms (2022 rankings) is paralysed on the battlefield already.

NATO just needs to increase the pressure slowly as they have to date. Russia can't complain as that shows immediate weakness.

Its amazing to watch. Going nowhere on the ground. Pulling out of Sevastopol. Running to NK for artillery.

What a clusterfuck.
