Ukraine isn't mentioned anymore in the English speaking news channels, other than as a tedious bore.

This Braverman thing may have had to do with the failure of the Rwanda deportation appeal in their Supreme Court today, rather than just her criticism of the policing of pro-Palestinian marches. Likely Sunak got a heads up beforehand and now he's in a real pickle. Curious to see Cameron back on the horse, he has experience in the Middle East. Likely he'll be visiting Ukraine soon.

GENICHESK, November 15. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military has lost roughly two battalions of personnel in its attempts to cross the Dnieper River in the Kherson Region, Regional Governor Vladimir Saldo said on Wednesday.

Currently, a company and a half of Ukrainian troops are staying in the area between a railway bridge and Krynki on the left bank of the Dnieper River, he specified.

"About a company and a half of enemy personnel, mostly small groups, are staying along the left bank’s area from the railway bridge to Krynki. The enemy has crossed the river by sending more personnel for some time than our firepower could destroy. To put it simply, the enemy has thrown troops for slaughter. It has already lost at least 1.5-2 full-fledged battalions at the crossing and during its stay on the left bank. The average period for a Ukrainian soldier to stay alive on the left bank is slightly over two days,"😟😔😞

TASS

How could they be reporting the truth when the Russians themselves admit the military HQ command maps don't reflect reality.

Forgive me but I won't comment on Russian sources any further. No one, at any level of Russian command, knows what's going on.

Calm down there ffs:LOL:

Indeed, the news agency quoted the regional authority who reported what we all expected including you!
The Ukes decided to cross the river despite the high cost, what ever good it does them remains to be seen.

What is certain is that they are being watched in Hi-Res by Commands that demand to know what's going on?
What in hell will happen to them now??

Easy Horse, What's it to you anyway?
Tass has simply confirmed what you yourself have posted in relation to a much observed natural border.
What's the "Bullshit"?

My question to you is - What's next for the Uke troops whose occupation is being carefully monitored?

Perhaps they should return across the river, the Russians have hesitated in further engagement for a while . . .

Gives everyone time to reconsider?

And the BBC, read and weep :cry::cry:

. . . But Vladimir Saldo, the Russian-installed official in charge of the Kherson region still under occupation, insisted that they had sustained heavy losses and faced a "fiery hell" and had no chance of breaking through. "Our additional forces have now been brought in. The enemy is trapped in Krynky," he claimed.

Anything could happen??

You know the BBC. They try so hard to be neutral.

"Oh you 'insist' the AFU 'sustained heavy losses'? Ok let's print that for balance!"

It's the same thing with Hamas.

I'm OK with the BBC though. Their stance gets them to places where others can't go.

But they are masters of language. They don't say that Saldo is telling the truth, they just report what he is saying. ;)

And the Russian milbloggers know that's a load of shit.

Yeah so, what happened?
Uke's identified a weakness which they successfully attacked, surprised Russia withdrew their wrecked defence's after being overwhelmed by 3-4 Uke battalions, currently now Russia is planning to regain its former positions, it could turn into a huge battle.

The Ukrainian situation is becoming increasingly an irrelevance despite the carnage.
And the potential for outrageous escalation or provocation at any point.
Exactly.

A now Putin can just eliminate them by aerial bombing.

You know it's over when The Wall Street Journal is publishing Op Eds like this.

But some lad on Twatter sez the Ukies triumphantly stormed another potting shed and captured a whole carrot patch on an allotment last night, so Zelensky must be half way to being almost on the road to Moscow by now.

The final nail in the coffin for Jerry's argument that Russia is losing the war of attrition/running out of Troops? Straight from the horse's mouth. From the Kyiv Post:

The Russian army in Ukraine right now is more than double the size of the force that invaded almost two years ago, and the Kremlin is likely to be able to sustain its armies for the long term despite continuing massive battlefield manpower losses, a leading Ukrainian military observer said on Thursday.

Immortal no more: The Coke plant at Avdiivka has been destroyed by an Iskander Missile. This was the main defensive bastion in the city.

It's incredible that people will still protest the war in Russia despite the penalties. It means there's a uncorrupted core of people who can help shape Russias future when this is all over.

So how to cope with this?

"Orphans. Cubans. Convicts. Central Asian migrant workers.

These groups are targeted by Russian military recruiters to try to fill Russia’s trenches in Ukraine while minimizing the impact on Moscow and St. Petersburg. One year ago this month, President Vladimir Putin announced an emergency draft on national TV. Within weeks, 1 million men quietly left Russia. Since then, Russian draft boards have targeted marginalized groups."

You'd wonder at this.
Russia, I'm sure, has 100s of these Iskander missiles. One? So late in the battle?

Are the Russians on the go slow to let the Kiev regime to rip itself apart? Will Zalunznhyi or Zelensky fall before Adeveeka?

'Now it begins' and 'So it starts' must be most cliched expressions on social media.

The sure sign of a nothingburger
