Talking to the CEO of a SME manufacturing company on the continent recently and his views upon the Ukrainian situation could have been lifted straight from this thread, and it’s not Tankman he would of been giving likes to.

There is growing opposition to the elite wherever I go, but as yet it has not found a way of expressing itself. The day will come though…..

A large assault on Russian territory of Belgorad by AFU has been obliterated. I'm starting to think the information in my last post is accurate, as Russia does seem to have suddenly become very Johnny-on-spot with its responses.

You'd wonder just what Ukraine is trying to achieve here. If, after losing 234 personal, it retreated then just how big was the attack to begin with? Any assault that was meant to gain ground will need an overwhelming force, and this was obviously not the case here. Is it just the needless sacrifice of men and machinery to make it look as if Ukraine is still trying? Has it now become a war of optics rather than results? Yes and yes, utter madness, evil madness at that.
