What a mess, anyone here know what exactly is happening, I liked Quinlan, good speaker. The Barretts and Quinlan seem to have an issue as to how Paul Conroy is running the party? All this falling out makes the far left of pbp look stable, which is not good

Aontú activist struck by wheelie bin in ‘politically motivated attack’ by assailant who told him he’s ‘dead man walking’​


A COMMUNITY activist says he was the victim of a suspected politically motivated attack last week.

Aontú rep Michael O’Dowd, from Drogheda, Co Louth, was struck by a wheelie bin pushed by a man who had previously told him he was a “dead man walking”.

O’Dowd was walking with his daughter to his parked car near Peter Street in the town just after 9am when the shocking incident took place.

His daughter, who lives abroad, was back for a holiday and they had gone out to catch up over a coffee.

O’Dowd has dealt with abuse from his attacker before, telling us that normally he avoids the man but he couldn’t on this occasion.

As the pair approached the car, the man started cursing at O’Dowd before he kicked the bin in his direction.

The Aontu man told The Irish Sun: “Thankfully it was empty, so it didn’t cause any injury. But I was shocked, it was a total escalation of bad behaviour.

“I think he was lucky it was empty, because it would have broken at least a toe if it was full.”

I actually don't think he is. Sometimes severe autists get confused about their sexuality simply because they're told its cool to be LGBTQ+.
