Election theft happened again. Republicans took everything down the ballot except the top Job, Governor, in Kentucky.

JFK did an interview with the three big news channels in 1963, mid-way through his term. He was an impressive, genuine and serious man. Below is the unabridged version - a shorter one with pictures is available on YouTube. Kennedy made a number of remarks that remain relevant today. It should be on the high school civics syllabus.

To be honest.
How many would have the attention span to got beyond a soundbite size news clip.
These interviews were getting a vision across.
Putin can do these interviews.
I'm not sure too many western politicians or their audiences have the ability to manage these events anymore.
For whatever reason.

Can't disagree about the conspiracy of mediocrity that has overtaken the free world.

The content of the interview with JFK is still very relevant to what is happening on the news today. It's worth a listen in the earphones when you're doing something. Long form podcasts are very popular - it's just the media industry prefers snippets.

The Republicans had a bad night again in the elections held there yesterday.

Fair point on the podcasts.
Some very interesting discussions.
And if Joe Rogan is anything to judge by very popular with the informed minority in the US.
The election results.
What can be said.
Most peculiar.
The gerrymandering of districts?

I remember watching C-Span's Washington Report during the 2008 nomination campaign. A Democrat rang in and said that he was tired of the Clinton psychodrama. Could be that many are fatigued by Trump and aren't turning out. The malicious law-suits are a bit exhausting for those who aren't into soap operas and deliberately so.

There's also a lot of vitriol in the atmosphere which may put off less-factionalised voters from turning up - politics is about as appetizing as flat soda presently. They were state level rather than national elections. I don't know the turn-out figures.

Perhaps they were right when they said that the Republicans don't have a ground game given the conflict between their notables and the former President. Is this confusing their activity or is the party machine standing back?

I still think that De Santis is the guy that has the best chance to turn American fortunes around but it's becoming increasingly unlikely that he's going to get in this time. He's not a Beltway sort and a bit too parochial for the bling of Presidential campaigning. However, he has shown his quality as governor of Florida and gives every indication that he could bring that to the White House. It will take a significant series of tangible crises before someone like him will be given a chance.

JFK spoke about the difficulties he experienced in steering the apparatus of the Executive and Congressional dynamics in the interview above. It's not a new problem, it's just that there was a different comity in operation.

.

Do you know why you're the second person now to answer my question and the person I actually asked won't?
Nobody is under any obligation to answer any sort of question of yours or anyne elses? I wonder about this obsession of yours, are you on some sort of spectrum?

The House Committee has issued sub poenas for Hunter and James Biden, others to follow, so things are begining to look dicey for Joe
Won't be long until the 25th amendment is invoked to get rid of Pedo Biden and to banish him to a home for the bewildered.

Then....Cameltoe Harris will be president, a suitable one for the banana republic.

Isn't that what the Whitehouse already is?

the problem is that the people in power do not want to know about any of this. And it is many levels above the intellect of most
It's so blatant.
The ballot stuffing has been brought up and scoffed at bit It's been caught on camera.
At the very least there's been visual evidence that needed investigating.
But anyway.
The brother was in California.
Went of to bed thinking Trump has it in the bag.
Got some shock waking next morning!
Let's stick to the silly aul pencil and turning up to vote.
Seems to be a more honest solution.
