Oh boy. JPS'c non-read articles continue to be dropped as if this is some kind of back street dump where guys like him exploit weaker folk.

Give it up JPC. Most of us are tired of your bullshit.

Before my time but I read this evening that he was, among other things, a nuclear engineer, peanut farmer and a carpenter before he went into politics. So a man with valuable skills and plenty of life experience - which is always a good start.

Compare that to this semi-autistic gimp who has called himself Taoiseach for the past year.

Dropped out of university and went straight into some Mickey Mouse post with Fine Gael. Progressed up the career ladder despite the fact that he's borderline retarded and found himself in a ministerial role - and shortly after was deemed to be a suitable candidate for Taoiseach. No life experience; no discernable skills. A complete and utter mong who doesn't know his arse from his elbow.
Yeah!
Pretty underwhelming when you put it it in those terms.
And do a comparison.
Different breed those men!
In so many respects.

The ideal candidate from the string pullers point of view.

Such a stalwart that a simple request to have a thread named after him was refused.
There is an old outdoor toilet on my farm as part of the general buildings. It was for the hired staffers. It still works but is a
bit rough. It was always called the Paddy Farrell after a hired boy who used to have to clean it out. I intend to have it re-named
after me.

Trump had four years. Only completes places have not figured him out by now.
He is back in now with a vengeance. I hope he reeks havoc. I have a video on poor America in the deep south and it is obvious that
the Chinese have taken all the jobs. Trump will impose tariffs and starve the Chinese.

That is because Dan lives in Mass an d is from East Galway . About as woke and anti Trump as there is. Saul was pro Trump but not as fanatical a supporter as me. He had a meeting with Tim Cook of Apple yesterday to rob Ireland of the 13 billion yoyos.

There is a belief that a number of Ballinasloe lads actually have some Traveller in them. They say that each year at the horse fair a certain amount of local women had a roll in the hay with Tinkers who were there selling horses. The women's aul lads were out drinking most of the time and they were lonely.

Perhaps Dan has a bit of a Knacker in him and that's why he behaves the way he does.

What Trump says and what Trump does are two very different things. Big Corporations will do what is good for them and Trump won't interfere.

The whole QAnon spoof is excellent at keeping the more Ultra and prone to psycho Trumpers on board the Trump train.

He has goodwill of tens of millions and passionate commitment of millions of others. He could radicalize them more and lead them into being a more bolshy demanding group. Boycotts, protests, etc. Actually be a populist leader instead of paying lip service.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

But unfortunately, as most of us suspect ~ ~ It is very very unlikely that Trump will do anything that upsets the Powers That Be in America !

We can only hope he's one of the many cogs in the wheel there are now who will end the woke mind cancer that's destroying humanity.

Behind all the theatre that Sam Hyde guy is an intelligent fellow, he put Musk in the frame and ripped him to shreds, put a whole new perspective on Trump's new best mate, who is, as Sam eloquently explained, just another nerd that got lucky.

Elon Musk’s verbal attacks on German leaders risk straining relations between Berlin and Washington, Rolf Mutzenich, the head of Germany’s Social Democratic Party (SPD) parliamentary group, has warned.
In an interview with Spiegel on Wednesday, Mutzenich blasted the South African born, US-based billionaire over his jabs at German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Musk had referred to Steinmeier as an “anti-democratic tyrant” and predicted election defeat for Scholz – who he labeled a “fool” and “Oaf Schitz.” He has also voiced support for Germany’s far-right and anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, calling it “the last spark of hope for this country.”
Mutzenich accused Musk, one of the most prominent allies of US President-elect Donald Trump, of “crossing a line between friendly states” while defending Steinmeier. He argued that Steinmeier is Germany’s head of state under international law, meaning that “the verbal attacks on the Federal President are therefore aimed at all citizens.”

Scholz hits back at Musk in New Year’s address

Mutzenich went on to urge Berlin to clarify whether Musk’s repeated “disrespect, defamation, and interference” align with the stance of the incoming Trump administration.
German officials earlier suggested that Musk’s comments could be a potential attempt to influence Germany’s snap parliamentary elections in February. Scholz’s coalition government recently collapsed due to disagreements over Ukraine aid, economic reforms, and climate policy, leading to a vote of no confidence and parliamentary dissolution in December.
During Trump’s first term, he criticized Germany’s significant trade surplus with the US while threatening tariffs on German cars. He repeatedly accused Berlin of failing to meet NATO’s 2% GDP defense spending target, calling Germany overly reliant on US military support. Trump also opposed the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project, which was sabotaged in 2022 after the Ukraine conflict escalated, arguing that it would increase the EU’s energy dependence on Moscow.
