Could be that Austin didn't want the cathouse in Washington to know he was going to have a standard procedure in case there would be some pesky intrigue - the Joint Chiefs of Staff must have known. Then there were complications and it blew up in his face.

I think Austin is a solid character - he'd be a sore loss to the administration and the defense department. They should lay off him for their own good.

How could the Joint Chief know and not inform The Commander in Chief, a clear deriliction of duty.

Nothing like this has ever happened before because one would think it to be impossible.

Maybe Biden isn't secure. There's speculation that he's being run by his handlers and "super delegates" without any agency of his own other than some tantrum indulgence and cover for the family monkey. It could be that there's a gap in trust between the military and political systems at the moment. Who knows what's going on?

He may be cautioning it. It's not the time for more turmoil in the administration. This is an election year and the world is in upheaval. That important wan on CNN had a woman from Chatham House on who said that the US is seen as a declining power in the Middle East. Moving a Karine Jean-Pierre type into Defense would not bode well.

I'd be tempted to think along the same lines. There is no doubt that he's just a puppet, only capable of the merest suggestion of self determination, so it is highly probable that a fight is going on as to who should be pulling the strings.

This leads to the question as to how the great reset is progressing. For any such event to occur there needs to be a huge degree of agreement and cooperation between the major players, and TBH, I am not convinced that is possible, thieves get greedy and start falling out. There are a couple of major problems for our would be dictators, the first two being Israel and Ukraine, neither of these have gone to plan, then there is the climate scam, folk are not falling for it as they once were and EVs, which were meant to be granting total control of our travel, are not selling as quickly as anticipated. As for covid, just what was the plan? Did it achieve what it was meant to and if not then then what next?
