I don't think they will be unaffected by them.
On one level with the horror of what is involved you might think that afterwards the forces pushing it through would wind their necks in.
My guess is though that there will be a doubling down and things will become more intense.
My sister believes in "Free Speech" outside of hardcore porn and the most nasty types of blasemphy against what Protestant Christians hold dear on the grounds of that it cuts down paranoia- you get to know what people actually think. She is right in this- censorship and taboos on frankness very easily to lead to paranoia about "dog whistles". roc_ has given his views on Anderson so whatever his support for what is happening now in Palestine (which I think now can be labeled genocide) that will not rescue him for the paranoid charge, in fact it might maybe counter-intuitively to some encourage him being a victim.
