Heinz is getting shit for an advert where the bride is black but only her mother features on the picture, there's no Da.

They're saying Heinz is perpetuating stereotypes of black men doing a runner on their families.

Heinz soup being poured over paintings with the label clearly visible and now some trumped up outrage over race suggests that there is no such thing as bad publicity as far as far as the company is concerned, although of course none of it is deliberate, perish the very thought!

@Mad as Fish has a theory that it was done on purpose (for publicity). Interesting

Either way, it's kind of ridiculous. The "stereotype" (like a lot of stereotypes) is true :) And when will the fake news media report on - The strange phenomenon of Black Man White Woman, or the overrepresentation of non-whites in advertising in general. Never, that's when
Absolutely on point.
It's totally contrived propaganda.
Keep firing the nonsense until they accept it as true!

Here it is -

Heinz.jpg

Label clearly to the fore. Now, it maybe that the young lady concerned was keen for it to be known that it was merely soup they had adorned the picture with, but on the other hand Heinz had its name and a staple from its its product range flashed around the globe for free, apparently.

The dear young things got 24 and 20 months each, yet there is no mention of the security guards or gallery management getting so much as a ticking off, suggesting to the tin foil hat folk that there was a degree of complicity involved.

Decided to watch a bit of the English Premier league just there and seemingly it's another 'gay week' for soccer.
They have this thing called 'rainbow laces' where the captain has to wear the gay colours of the rainbow on his arm and apparently all the other players have laces in the colour of the rainbow.
Anyway, Arsenal just scored and straight away behind the goal some official raises this massive gay/BLM flag and waves it furiously......😂

Also, every few minutes or so this 'No Room For Racism' tag drops down under the score at the top left of the screen.😂

What the fuck has soccer come to?
It's an absolute joke and an embarrassing one at that.😂 😂

I wonder what the players think about it as they're obviously forced to do it by their clubs and the Premier league.

Aye, 2 Muslims refused to take part in it and the Crystal Palace captain (who is a Christian) wrote “I love Jesus” on his armband.

Only the Christian was reprimanded by the FA.

They do this gay week every few months. They are also still doing the kneeling before kick-off thing occasionally. This week Sky even have the faggot rainbow colours on their microphones. All the managers have to wear a stupid badge. Man Utd wanted to go beyond the captain's armband requirement by getting the whole team to wear faggot jackets, but dropped the plan because of a Muslim player.

As Tiger alluded to, the Christian player's club got a "reminder" about him writing"I love Jesus" on his armband, but the two Muslims who refused to wear the armband at all did not receive any warning or punishment.

Spurs have a fag flag on permanent display at their ground. I often see a massive fag flag at Arsenal too, raised when they score, bizarrely.

You see @Myles O'Reilly How people waste their money foolishly on stuff which is of no advantage to them, and in fact their purchase of 'Tickets' profits the opposition at the cost of disappointment for the financial backer (Mr Clean & Free).
Imagine if people were to indulge themselves in such a manner daily?

If you hate science so much why do you use it to invoke your biblical story? 🤔

(I could ask the same of flat-earthers)

I didn’t make that image, however I would imagine it’s depicting the kind of tedious person who invokes science like a religion (scientism) versus actual day to day science.

We all know the type.

Do you accept that you frequently invoke science to try to affirm your biblical story?

Not at all. Pointing out the weaknesses in the evidence for evolution isn't about affirming a particular narrative—it's about testing a hypothesis, which is precisely what science is supposed to encourage. Scientific inquiry thrives on questioning assumptions and examining evidence, rather than defending dogmas.

What’s fascinating is how quickly you infer that this critical examination must be 'religious.' That reaction speaks volumes—not about my worldview, but about yours. It reveals that your framework of understanding leans on its own unquestioned premises: the idea that life spontaneously arose from nothing and organized itself through blind, unguided processes. This isn’t "science" in a pure sense; it’s a philosophical commitment, one that borders on faith in itself.

Science, by definition, doesn't 'belong' to any one ideology or worldview, including yours. It’s a tool for seeking truth, no matter where that search leads. Perhaps it’s worth asking: is your attachment to evolutionary theory so strong because it serves as the foundation for your meaning of life? And if so, are you willing to apply the same scrutiny to your own 'religion' that you demand of mine?

I’m guessing that person in the image reminds you of yourself, which explains why you are triggered by it.

I hope you don't mind me taking this to the Origins thread? Origins Uncensored that is, where you have right of reply

I don't mind thread drift myself but this is the WWW thread and it seems more suited to our Origins saga

I do mind. I'd rather have gonorrhea.

That thread is an attention-seeking abomination—a clickbait circus where you link to other people’s names in a lame attempt to have any old chinwag about any old subject. It’s not about fostering meaningful dialogue; it’s about generating clicks and stirring the pot.

As for scholarly debate, Origins Uncensored is about as far removed from it as you can get. The past few weeks’ content is an embarrassment to the site—disjointed, shallow, and utterly devoid of substance. Frankly, a more fitting title would be 'The Isle on Tour,' given how it reads more like a parody of intellectual discussion than anything remotely serious.

I'm not interested in feeding the spectacle that thread thrives on.

You don’t have a proper Origin’s thread. You have an ‘Islepoli on Tour’ thread.

It’s amusing to watch you try to confidently navigate the subject of evolution with all the finesse of someone who skimmed a Wikipedia summary and mistook it for acquired wisdom. Your grasp of the actual literature on evolution is so tenuous, I’m surprised it hasn’t filed a missing persons report.
