I live to see the EU consigned to the dustbin of history:

The future of the EU is in jeopardy at a time of multiple crises beyond its borders and doubts over defense guarantees from the US, Brussels’ outgoing foreign policy chief said on Monday. Josep Borrell painted an alarming picture of the state of world affairs when marking the release of a collection of his speeches and essays titled ‘Europe in the Arc of Fire.’ He listed conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza, and Africa among the key factors threatening global security.

Here lies the problem. The project has failed. The EU is deader than a doornail, worse than in the dying days of the USSR.
But they still think they can throw their weight around. Lie some more.
Ursula van der Slut reminds me of Comical Ali as the septics roll into Baghdad behind him.
Total denial.
Hopefully she will share his fate.
*edit. He died in his bed. Let us pray for something more gitmoesque for that lying, corrupt evil hag*

Well if Russia does invade across Europe at some point I don't know what will stop them taking over what is now the EU.

Should have stuck to free trading amongst European countries and cheap good quality food for the European people.
It's a bloated overreaching disgrace.
101% with you here. The EU was just fine as a trading bloc, but that is just so boring for the failed politicians and second rate staffers who were dispatched to run the shop. Here was their chance to build an empire, to gather great power and entertain mighty kings as equals, so that is what they strove for, they built a house of wax and string that appeared firm and strong until it collapsed before the heat and blades of war.

The demise of the EU will be a long drawn out affair. Its industry is dying, Its voters will not change enough to fix it and
the greens will supervise that death

So what happened to all this talk of ending it in a day?

Trump is turning out to be a huge disappointment, but not a surprising one.
Look who financed his campaign. Who pays the piper....
I reckon the speed of EUSSR collapse depends on just how screwed Germany is, and the indicators are grim: ThyssenKruppstahl are laying off thousands ( and they want to run their smelters with ELECTRICITY 🤪)
The Greens have finished what Merkel started, closed for good perfectly good NPS - making sure no one could reverse that fact by acid flushing the cores,
and destroyed car manufacturing with the EV craze.
Incidentally Luton is sharing that pain - ICE car manufacturing closing in favour of EV production in Ellesmere.
Add to that the invasion -
and terminal velocity might be reached sooner rather than later.
With 'friends' like the septics and their true puppeteers who needs enemies.
Grim. So it is.

As much as I dislike the EU behemoth - the fallout is going to be ugly, especially if Trump closes the tax bonanza for our big International guests.
If we had upright, honest leadership we could rescue and rebuild our small island, instead of flooding it with welfare leeches. So everyone maybe we pick someone different tomorrow (not that I have any faith in that process either but hope dies last..)

When smug comfortable green supporters find their jobs gone and diversity in their neighbourhood.
Things will change very quickly.
Not sure how that will impact upon the EU though.

Never heard of that? Could you elaborate/ link? My ulcer isn't playing up enough🤣
As far as l know, the soon to be ratified Mercosur trade deal between The EU &
South American beef producers will see thousands of tonnes of cheaper Brazilian & Argentine beef being sold in the EU market from 2027. This will seriously undermine, undercut Irish beef exports. Harming our agricultural sector.
Of course , this is not being discussed among the public which just goes to show how good our media is at hushing this up.

That is shocking. We do not need inferior hormone/ God knows what they injected into the poor animals (MRNA by the back door??) - beef from fire cleared former rainforests here in Europe or anywhere.
The treason goes so deep, it is mindnumbing.

Russia's influence is being felt in Georgia it appears, some Georgians are unhappy about that, which is fair enough, but in four years time they might come to appreciate the bullet dodged.

Georgia is suspending talks on its bid to join the European Union for four years, its prime minister said Thursday, in view of what he described as “blackmail and manipulation” from some of the bloc’s politicians. His announcement outraged the opposition and triggered a new wave of protests.

The EU goons will be delighted with these protests.
Of course when Trump voters did something similar in 2020 the same goons condemned those protesters outright and claimed they were 'far right', 'nazis' and a threat to American democracy.
The government in Georgia is right to stay the fuck out of the totally corrupt EU.

The actual concept of the European Union is probably a good thing. Julius Evola in the final chapter of 'Men Among the Ruins' which is a manifesto for post-war Europe advocates for a united Europe. The European Union is not extreme enough but it's still better than what the English are doing, which is leaving the union. My fear is that more & more European countries are going to leave the union under the influence of American & Israeli speculators until we enter in to a kind of Socialism or even worse Communism.

'until we enter in to a kind of Socialism'

That ship sailed years ago.

Trouble at French Mill !

Trouble for Euro ~ Trouble for the EU Reich-y

Let's hope the whole thing goes down the bowl. .It 'd be messy but we all get our freedom back. We could approach Putin to let us have reasonably priced fossil fuels and other things besides.
Kick out unwanted elements.
Ok, sorry I'm in a fever dream🤣

The two powerhouses of Europe now rudderless with the engine room of the largest closing down as energy prices soar and all the others within the empire pursuing this idiotic idea of net zero.

It is not going to end well.

It is not going to end well.
It's all about the money. France is entitled to share in a bonanza of trillions worth of natural resources recently discovered and conveniently located at the edge of the EU.
They've made the initial investments, contracts are signed, all that's needed is some extra time to rebuild full access.
Then fortunes rise, the economy booms and everyone will be content again.
The Germans are doing it too so it must be a good idea, after all, they are respected for having direct experience in such large scale projects.
