Dating apps are an abomination. They are only part of the problem though, along with women's right to vote, work, role in society etc. that have messed up the traditional dynamic. Banning them in isolation won't work now with the sexual liberation genie out of the bottle.
The search for a soulmate or simply marrying your highschool sweetheart has been reduced to a search for quick shag with a complete stranger based on a profile photo that may not even be real, followed by a "date" - soulless sex in a Travelodge and when the deed is done both parties go their separate ways.
Dating apps are a black pill for men. Nearly every woman seems to have kids ("my child is my wurld"), tattoos, can't write basic English, and has something in her profile about not wanting a serious relationship, so hook-ups. Traditionally, women had the choice of guys in her local area only, now they have the whole country, or even the whole world, so they have much more to choose from. But it's only the top 20% of guys, maybe less, that they are interested in and get the hook-ups, with the other 80% getting nothing. Catfishing experiments have shown just how much women love Chad - when a guy is so good-looking that even telling the women he is a convicted pedo in his profile doesn't put them off.
